Second story in today's Guardian: Four arrested over crossbow killing of retired man in Wales

"A 38-year-old man from the Bryngwran area of the island was arrested on suspicion of the murder of Gerald Corrigan, 74, and a number of other related offences.

A 36-year-old from Bryngwran and a 48-year-old from the Caergeiliog area of the island were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit fraud and a number of related offences.

A 50-year-old woman, whose address was not given, was arrested on suspicion of money laundering and fraud-related offences."

I don't have a motive yet. That being said the money laundering charge is interesting. It could also be unrelated. It will all come out soon. Imo EBM

And I think this is it on Google Maps.

If I'm correct, then it's a pretty remote location.

It's a lovely area, very remote, steep cliffs to the sea. A bird watchers paradise. The RSPB have a info centre over looking South Stack light house near by. If you look on Google earth you can really see how remote it is.

A man has been charged with the murder of a retired lecturer who was fatally shot with a crossbow bolt.

Gerald Corrigan, 74, was struck outside his home in a remote part of Holyhead, Anglesey, at about 12.35am on 19 April as he adjusted his satellite dish.

North Wales police said Terence Michael Whall, 38, of Bryngwran, had been charged with his murder. He is due to appear at Llandudno magistrates court.

Rbbm. Have become interested in the names given to "operations", wonder what this one signifies?

"In a fresh appeal released today, Detective Chief Inspector Brian Kearney, senior investigating officer, said: "As part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of Gerald Corrigan, I am appealing to anyone who was in the Porthdafarch Beach area, which is a short distance from his address in Holyhead, between 11pm on Thursday 18 April and 1am on Friday 19 April, to come forward.

“Any information you have, no matter how insignificant you think it could be, could greatly assist the investigation."

"Anyone with information has been asked to contact police on 101, quoting "Operation Blue Fulgent".

Information can also be provided via the live web chat here .

Alternatively, people can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."

I had to look that up! It means 'to shine' so maybe someone was getting fancy, in 'light' of the South Stack Lighthouse being near Gerald's house. Moo
