Was Patsy prejudice against blacks?

  • #21
I'm very suspect of him for possibly trying to molest JB at the party on the 23rd.I can't see JR trying to do that in his own house w/ everyone there...if someone tried to molest her that night,IMO,it would more than likely be someone who was invited to the party, but didn't live there.
I'm not so sure it was JB who dialed 911 though...to me it sounds as if someone walked in on the molester and was told to stop,or else...and actually dialing 911 showed them he/she meant it.
SS had to have been at least partially aware that something was amiss that night,by not opening the door to LE,and by being the one to respond to them in the first place.I suspect she did it as a favor to Patsy.

..I wonder if he was anxious to get out of town then..perhaps there were threats to turn him in??? It sure is suspect to me that he and Nedra didn't come to Boulder to be with Patsy after hearing of JB's death. And DP sure has always been eerily quiet. No appeals or pleas to the public to find the killer, etc.I've never even read anything of him being interviewed, either.

They did come. As well as her sisters Pam and Polly. They all stayed at the Stines. Yes, ALL!:bang:

I'm pretty sure that it was just Pam and Polly who made the trip out there, while Nedra and Don stayed back in Atlanta, possibly to get things ready for when everyone came out their way. I think that could have been handled by the two sisters and Patsy's parents ought to have made the trip to Boulder. And where does it say that they all stayed at the Stines? Didn't John, Patsy, Burke, Pam, and Polly first stay at the Fernies and they all flew to Atlanta for the funeral? And then during the first few days in January 1997 John, Patsy, and Burke flew back to Boulder to stay with Jay Elowsky for a period of time and then after that they stayed with the Stines?

correct on all counts.just PP and sister Polly came out;they all stayed at the Fernie's,then JR,PR,and BR went to live with JE for awhile after returning from Atlanta, then to the Stine's later on.It appears the still wanted friends to buffer them from LE,IMO.

re: ..the subject of this thread;please don't assume that most southerners are prejudiced against black ppl (or anyone, for that matter),as far as I'm concerned, those views are very outdated.I know some still try to use them in various cases (I'm not referring to the person who started this thread),and perhaps they do or don't always apply, but overall, personally I think it's a very outdated view, and I hope others feel that way, too.I'm not about to get into the specifics of the subject,so that's all I have to say about that. :)

I stand corrected. I meant the Fernies. Just can't keep those wacky Ramsey enablers straight! I for one do not think all southerners are prejudiced against blacks or anyone else. I don't lump people together like that. I do however think Patsy was.

One thing I have always believed is this case has more twists and turns in it.

Has Grandpa P passed away? I am under the impression that he did. I don't remember that it was made much of in the media; neither was Nedra's, Santa Bill, or anyone other than PR.

I don't know,maybe he did.

I dont think so his name is not on Granite beside Nedras. I think he is old and perhaps obscure now But I never heard he was deceased.

ok thx, CK.Is Nedra buried near Patsy and JB,anyone know? Just curious.

I believe they are all near each other- Nedra, PR, JBR and John's daughter from his first marriage who was killed in a car accident. Nedra has the biggest headstone. I'll check online about Grandpa P.

Nedra's headstone is bigger, because the headstone is meant for two people. Two people...one big headstone. My parents have one like that...my mom passed away ten years ago, my dad is still living..so on his side of the headstone, it just has his name and his date of birth....no death date....yet. Anyway...theirs (my parents...as well as the Paugh's) is bigger than some that are near theirs...because it is meant for two people.

Tea...did you notice that neither Nedra or Don...came forward to make a public plea for help in finding the killer of their grand-daughter? I found this ODD!

You're right. MY own family's as well.
I can't find Donald Paugh's death records, so possibly he is still alive- how old would be be now? No one ever hears of him now- he was apparently silent during the Karr fiasco, then? I can't believe the media wouldn't have sought him out for comment during that time.

Yes she is but her stone is much larger than Patsys or JB Does not look like there is room for John What do you make of that.

..sounds like they each want their own...hmmm.

What I wonder is where is John going to be? With his first wife? Well he had children with both wives so??? Or in that case is it protocol to be alone I know the picture of Patsys grave says alot to me She was not by JonBenet Yet, it at least right now does not look like John will be there by Patsy either I wonder does the unspoken word speak the loudest ? Why would John not place Patsy by JonBenet I can understand Beth being seperate as Beth was not married and her parents were divorced. So that sort if left Beth alone. But to be honest Beths headstone is bigger than Patsy,s But I wonder why John did not place Patsy and JonBenet together Maybe John will one day go by Patsy regardless of what it looks like for now:confused: Dont you wish you knew who had owership of the plots around those plots so you could see if there was some unspoken message there for sure or not.

I didn't know that,CK.I had always just assumed Patsy was beside JB and had made arrangements for that to be so before she passed.
As for JR,I don't know how the plots are laid out or what is allowed, but I can see him wanting to be buried beside,(in between if possible?) both his daughters. Both were tragically taken so young,so I wouldn't think that to be odd,if that's the plan. But yea..some unspoken message about how they really felt about each other is possible.

I would have expected a child to be buried in a plot large enough to hold her parents. JR refusal to put PR in with her daughter may indicate his reluctance to put JBR with the one who was responsible for her death. It always struck me as odd that JBR had a single grave- then I began to think it was because her parents wanted her to "stand out" in death, as it were. They wanted her to remain a focal point- and this was best accomplished by her being buried alone; her grave would become a shrine. It could also be that PR, who naturally figured she'd be the next R to go, would be unnecessarily reminded of that fact by spending her remaining years looking at a headstone that had "room" for her.
