Panic purple. Freak-out fuschia. Nervous Nile green. Vomiting violet. Worryin' white. Blitherin' black. Dunno denim. Scared scarlet. Gutless green. OMG orange. Stark-raving red. Yelling yellow. Bathtub blue. Indigestion indigo.

:snooty: I don't look good in yellow.

Praying for justice for Kathleen....

and wasn't the tub also dry?

that is huge for me.

And, the stopper was in the "down" position. I noticed that in rebuttal, the PT didn't say she was drowned in the tub, just that Drew held her down and she inhaled water.

That tub had no scummy ring, no diluted blood along the walls, only blood that had come from her head and saturated her hair.

I do think that there is some corruption and/or incompetence with the LE of Will County, but if this man has a relative in LE elsewhere, I would imagine that he would be more inclined to view Drew critically as they don't like cops who give other decent, honest cops a bad name by their rotten behavior.

Did anyone discuss the fact that Drew flew at the trial? Do you think that he might know someone who knows Drew? It must be a dinky little airport out that way..I don't think that there is enough acreage where he is to have a hanger on his property by any means.

I need some Pepto Bismol.......I hope that each juror will be fair minded with a lot of integrity.

This is the one juror I'm nervous about - IMO too close too comfort in comparison to Drew, my hinky meter is up on this one. Home builders have to get permits etc. from the village (mingles with government), he's got a relative in LE, and we know LE has that silent code of not ratting on each other, and he takes flying lessons (Drew flew too).

Just my opinion that this juror will be in favor of Drew .

Add to that the dried blood on her face! After they claimed the water seeped out? I think not!

On In Session, one of the talking heads said that in IL (or at least Will County), the exhibits don't automatically go in where the jury is. In fact, it is unusual to have exhibits back there. The jury is allowed to ask to see any exhibits they'd like, but they do have to ask for them. The defense wanted all the exhibits to go in with the jury, but the pros said, no, just do the usual thing. The judge agreed with the pros, so only exhibits that are specifically requested will go to the jury during deliberation.

(ETA The judge's calling the attorneys back in to the courtroom re evidence was just to hammer this out. The jury hasn't requested evidence yet.)

We have been told we will get 30 minutes notice to assemble once the verdict is reached in #DrewPeterson

Stacy Peterson has family present as well. This case means justice for two, not just one.

Only a few jurors packed an "overnight" bag. A clue? What do you think about the outcome?

hmmmm

This is frightening. Reminds me of how Pinellas jurors showed up dressed up like they knew they were going to be delivering a verdict.

I'm surprised that considering the evidence they haven't reached a not guilty verdict yet... Well I'm sure those forms take a while to complete.

Agree with all points ^ regarding the evidence surrounding Kathleen's body position. Blood etc. etc. Another huge red flag was DP scrubbing the tub:what:

I think as a juror I'd start with the forensic pathology evidence. Was this an accident or not? If it was an accident then the rest is irrelevant, but if it wasn't the rest is evidence which needs to be assessed. The pathologists are the natural starting point for deliberations, IMO.

MOO and all that...

ITA, Capp -- If all the jurors agree that she was murdered, DP is toast.

Kinda surprised the DT didn't object on the grounds of "Stacy who?". I'm really glad they're there.

In post #5 on page 1 - from the juror's list -
This gentleman has a cousin that's a retired Joliet police officer - I sure hope that he's got the critical thinking of cops don't like cops that make them look bad. (Thanks btw, I did not think in that way, I right away thought of corruption.)

Me too. I want them to have a shot at Justice and this may be their only. And on the "Stacy Who" I wish the reporter had followed up with "The one on your witness list"

I partially agree, in that I think if they come back quickly, it will be a NG verdict. (They would go in, everybody'd say, "Not sure she was murdered," fill out forms, go back to courtroom.)

I heartily believe he's guilty, though, and I do think there's more than enough evidence for them to convict him, unless they're Casey-type jurors who can't draw any conclusions from evidence.

Oh ~n/t~ my comment had more to do with the way verdicts seem to go in high profile cases and less to do with my opinion of Peterson's guilt or innocence...
