The defense is happy they managed to find 12 people with limited vocabulary skillzzz.

  • #962
Oh no...they're asking what unanimous means

That tells me the Pinella's 12 might have more brains than the Will (or Won't) 12.

I take back what I posted yesterday about no dumb questions. This has to be the dumbest question I have ever heard. No wonder Lopez was skipping, dancing and laughing.

obviously there's a hold out juror - we just don't know in which direction - ugh!

It better not be the LE guy.

  • #967
So, if they all agreed he was guilty, they wouldn't ask that question, right? Holy crap.

u·nan·i·mous/yo͞oˈnanəməs/
Adjective:

(of two or more people) Fully in agreement.
(of an opinion, decision, or vote) Held or carried by everyone involved.

IT MEANS YOU ALL AGREE THAT DREW PETERSON KILLED KATHLEEN, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!!!

Is your InSession showing a replay of the Hemy Neuman trial? My jury watch clock just shows 9 hours and some odd minutes!:pullhair:

You must be West Coast

OMG - there are 12 of them in there and no one knows what unanimous means???? Did P12 move??? :waitasec:

:seeya: Yep ... it sounds like they moved from Pinellas, Florida to Will County, Illinois !

OMG ... this is just NOT good that NO ONE on that jury knew what that word meant ?

Un-freakin-believable !!!

How are they struggling? I don't understand any of this and now I'm afraid of our judicial system. Who are these people?
The same ones who were allowed to wear color coordinated clothing in the courthouse, while on a jury. :banghead::maddening: This judge has no control over his courtroom, he set the tone. IMO

The #DrewPeterson jury question: "Just to be clear judge. What does unanimous mean?"

:thud:

Only in NE IL, only in NE IL.

  • #974
Combining the charges may have been the confusion! and checked white just said it's 6 did 1 and fixed it another day with think it was not unanimous. But it is! I don't think I understand that

I just have a hard time since the last trial and jury, ahem, I watched. I am on pins n needles here, which does me no good. I am afraid to leave the puter, and am watching HLN simultaneously. HLN did not have the tweet news on there. I never count on any news other than what I get from you all. :yourock:

P.S. I hope he spends the rest of his days in jail....

So, if they all agreed he was guilty, they wouldn't ask that question, right? Holy crap.

they would if they couldn't agree on which kind of guilty I suppose. Don't they have two choices?

  • #977
They don't know what "unanimous" meant?

OMG. Duhhhhh.

Now we know why the Defense team kept stating how much they looooove this jury.

  • #978
hmmmm....did you hear the question to the judge? It sounds like they may be deadlocked on the murder charge since they asked if they all have to be unanimous.

Definition of UNANIMOUS

1: being of one mind : agreeing
2: formed with or indicating unanimity : having the agreement and consent of all

From what I gather from the Jury form - we the jury find the defendant guilty of murder (or not murder).

They do not have to be unanimous in how he did it (from what I heard on In Session).

At least this Jury is taking time to clarify and read backs. I hope the Anthony Jury is taking notice!

MOO
