Websleuths is changing our colors

The second is bolded but it’s hard to see the difference between them.
Yep. What good is bolded font if it's not easily noticeable that it's bolded? A reader shouldn't have to lean, strain, and squint to see the difference. Tricia wanted WS to be more user friendly. Fixing/changing that will help a lot IMO! :D

Am I missing something?
I find that really difficult to tell the difference
Yeah, that's because I forgot to push the change out to the Accessible theme. 🙃

What if I have no questions for that thread, @fraize? Gee, I can't be bought for the gain of a laughing emoji that was stolen right out from me because of some abusers of the laughing emoji. ;) They were in the wrong, not us appreciators of genuine humor.

ETA after checking out that thread-- Okay, @fraize, I must thank you for leading me to that thread. I'm listening to the video on there and it's fascinating. I could listen to Joseph Scott Morgan's take on death investigations for every case. I might be able to come up with some questions eventually, but it's not to win back the laughing like emoji... that should be a given not a reward we have to earn. We're good kids that want to show appreciation for someone else's humor. 😜 I rest my case now.

Already done.

I don't mind either way about the laughing reaction, especially since we have so many emojis we can use now in posts, but I know it matters to some people.
The difference to us is you can use the Haha/Laugh Reaction to the post. Otherwise you're Quoting a post to LOL in it as a lot of people are doing. When it was first taken away from us I saw this in a Quoted post (since there is no more Haha Reaction):

It would cut down on the number of posts if people are just LOLing or pasting an image like the one above. I'm thinking that adds to storage space but might not amount to much.

There are only 5 for reacting to a post, and there isn’t a smiley or a laughing one. For the other emojis, like @Gemmie says, you must reply to the post and insert an emoji.

On another forum I read, they have specifically requested people NOT make a reply with only an emoji, or just "thanks" or "I agree" etc.

As I understand the reasoning, it's because this means many additional posts which creates a heavy digital storage burden (unsure if that's admin workload or cost of server space). I think they even added additional response emojis to make this easier for participants.

Personally I want to see the laugh response emoji back, and if folks persist on belittling other posters, whether it's via laughing at them or any other way, they should be warned/punished/banned/whatever is deemed appropriate. It's the making-fun attitude that is offensive, not the specifics of how they do that, and punishing everyone else for their bad behavior isn't the right approach.

MOO, of course!

Bam!! Yes totally agree!!!

We really need a place/area for animal abuse threads so we can Ignore/block them as I just read a title of one that upset me. I can't deal with that. I just can't. :(

Basically a way to block any "type" of thread that upsets people, triggers them, and they really can't even take a quick look at. I know other's have different issues than mine but basically it's the same issue. A way to block certain content.

Thank you.

I agree. LIke the newest one about the poor Opossum. Rest in Peace little fellah :(
No confirmation of death but I can't see how it could have survived. Or even if anyone cared.

I know awful things like this should be brought to attention but I hate that you have to keep seeing that title when you scroll the new threads or see it up the top of the page.

Just don't bring it up! PLEASE! I'm trying to avoid it and then it gets brought in here. :(
