MOO, the member's name when quoted hardly shows, and is hard to read. Sorry, maybe it's my old eyes again.

You must of done something, or maybe I didn't see that popup "quote/reply" box before because it's against a black screen. I can see it now, but I need more contrast. See I put a yellow border around the box below.

I especially would appreciate a contrast color between your post and my reply, or maybe a colored border around your post.

I had to go back to the orange/black.
The blue took forever to load a page and when loaded it keeps buffering.
Besides that I'm surprised that I actually find the orange/black much easier to navigate and was looking forward to the blue since orange/black is one of my least favorite color combos.
All is good though and it's a nice option to have.

It's only an option until the switch is flipped and the blue becomes the default for all. So enjoy the orange/black while you can! I know I am!

Sadly, the Black-Orange theme will eventually have to go away. The problem with maintaining the Black-Orange theme alongside the Websleuths_2025 theme is that it's written with a lot of legacy code which is difficult to maintain. I will be looking into making variations of the Websleuths_2025 theme that will be easier on the eyes for those with difficulties, but Black-Orange's days are numbered.

I will commit, however, to make a higher-contrast theme before shutting Black-Orange down.

Lastly, regarding the laughing-emoji, I'm dropping the hammer on this one. While I really do appreciate your enthusiasm on the matter, we are not planning to bring back the Laughing Emoji.

I'm with you. I prefer seeing Joined, Messages and Reaction score under our avatars. ESPECIALLY Joined. I'm thinking that could be easily remedied.

Can I ask what you're talking about, Curious? What 4-minute edit? Cuz we have about an hour to edit our posts. Or at least we used to. I haven't cut it close to the limit in awhile so maybe it's been changed to 4 minutes? If so, that sho nuff ain't enough time. (And yes, I know ain't isn't proper. Or is it ain't ain't proper? )

Don't hate me please, I'm just a very visual person with opinions. I'm just voicing all the changes I see. Some I like. That dark mode is nice, but I feel it needs more contrast. See above image-- I have some fav sites in a banner on my MS home page. Don't like the new logo style because it doesn't show up like the old logo did. The W is being blocked by the magnifying glass, which IMO could maybe be moved.

There's a (1) Light Mode with the blue, (2) a Dark mode, and (3) also the Black/Orange which will be going away eventually. Gee, the Light Mode with the blue seems to lack contrast and punch, maybe needs a deeper blue. The text seems less black and is even harder to read for me now in the Light Mode. I'm getting more eye strain and want to run back to the contrast of the orange/black.

I like seeing them "side-by-side" like that (or more like top to bottom. lol).

What stands out to me is it's not real clear when a Quote ends, and the Reply to the post starts. Sure, look for the bar on the left side of the Quoted post but I'm partial to the quote standing out more with it's own color, looking to see if the bar is gone. It's clearer to me that way that you're now reading the response to the Quote.

The first one is better, has 3 boxes of color framing the text in white.

On Light Mode, I don't like a lighter black text. Some sites are on that trend and their sites look faded. I also notice labels on products have to use the right color or I can't read the ingredients. If I had my way for our new style, I'd have a slightly bigger 16 font size and deeper black on all fonts. Verdana is not as black as it should be on the black/orange mode.​
