Websleuth's Radio - Special guest...

Does anyone have a link to Ron's blog? Thanks

I listened to some of the radio show but then that psychic called in talking about threats and blah blah and I got bored and turned it off. When I listened, it was mostly repetitive stuff that I already knew. I'd like to read about his interview with Brando.

I thought it was a good show. Very gracious of Mr. Cox to grant Tricia an interview....it is obvious he appreciate the prayers and support he receives from WS.

I agree about Edith calling, a distraction....but it was handled well, IMO.

I had no idea who either of those callers was since I haven't been a mod in this forum and am not familiar with all the ins and outs of this case. Ignorance is bliss, I guess! :kimsterwink:

I missed Mr Cox unfortunately. I logged on during the Whitney Houston discussion and then was hoping to get new info from Ron about the Brando interview. When it got repetitive, I still hung on but then when that psychic called in about the threats and how everyone is being threatened and blah blah....I gave up.

HLN was really good today with Mike Brooks and Jim Spellman at the scene.

Yes, that was really good but I missed some of it. How rude of my kids to try and talk to me while that was on. LOL

I think it was an old show being recycled though. I want to watch it again. I liked the way they showed the vantage points behind the house and down the street.

The first segment was about Dane's arrest.

Kimster, you mean you don't intimately follow the details of EVERY SINGLE CASE on Websleuths?? :floorlaugh: Well, goodness, how could you or anyone else!? It was just funny and eye-roll inducing since both the callers had been embroiled in Facebook drama over the Lisa Irwin case and what they were calling in about was said Facebook drama. Tricia & Ron handled both of them with aplomb, though!

It was still a good show, and I especially appreciated the segment with Chuck Cox. How that man is not collapsed into a puddle of grief I will never know but I was awed that he asked people not to attack the Powell family.

I am not blogging about the WS show. I am going to be blogging about my discussion with James Brando. Hopefully, I'll have time to put that together later today.

As for the calls on the show, I believe the first caller was Lisa Illinsky aka Lisa Hockenberry who does their own small radio show on occasion with searcher Edith Fine-Duskin, the second caller. I'm confident they both called in order to get the spotlight on them and distract.

As you can tell by my reaction on the show, I was hesitant to be receptive to Edith since she has put on Facebook what she believed to be my home address and a Google map photo of what she thought was my home. It's not so important as to whether or not it was my home, but why is there an interest in doing that? I have an office. Is putting what she believes to be my home information an attempt to intimidate me? While Edith is histrionic, she's calculating and knew exactly what she was doing.

After calling the show the other night and thanking me, Edith then posted to a FB page and attacked me. Nice hypocrisy huh?

Yes, I thought that call from Edith was a bit of image management. Oh, well, I am staying away from the Lisa Irwin Facebook pages these days and all the hostility & weirdness is a big reason why. (I never actually posted on any of them, because those people skeer me!)

Anyway, thank you Ron for doing the show. :)

I'm happy to do WS any time I can that Tricia thinks I can make a positive contribution. Yes, the FB pages are train wrecks. I don't post to them due to the drama and aliases. Excuse my Mid-Missouri farm boy verbiage, but anybody who doesn't have the balls to step to the plate using their real name on there, doesn't merit a reply from me. However, even those brazen enough to use their real name, have what I call sometimes as internet b@lls, kind of like beer b@lls. :)

Pending other breaking news, I am scheduled to be on the Jane Velez-Mitchell show on HLN live tonight at 6:25pm central time to discuss the Lisa Irwin case.

Sorry. I'm rebriefing myself before doing the Jane Velez-Mitchell show this evening. I've received a copy of Gil Abeyta's report for the first time and I'm familiarizing myself. Typically, when you do these shows, if you talk to anybody before the show at all, it's usually the producer and you know the topic, but you don't know what you will be asked or who you will be on with. However, this afternoon, the show's producer called me and said Jane VM wanted to talk to me for a few minutes. That's hands on. I was impressed.
