I was referring to the emojis on my phone, I am not sure if what you posted is considered an emoji, maybe an emoticon instead? Anyway I guess phone emojis don’t show up here.

Yes, I use IE but I've been using it ever since I joined WS in April 2014. I've tried Firefox and don't like it.

I've spent a few hours looking for a solution to the problem and tried several things but all have been unsuccessful. While the ads haven't posed any problems for me, I'm wondering if the live or moving ads are the culprit. I even had a problem logging in and once again I've had to resort to typing this post on Notepad as half the letters didn't appear, I got the long -running script message and was then thrown off the site!!!

I hope you can get it resolved. I know that long running script is frustrating.When it happened to me it really made my pc unusable.

All I see are a few smilies, no rose like we used to have. I'm not seeing emojis on my computer. Just happy to find a work around for the rose

I see the rose sig - nice- in phone sideways mode. My replies are still slow and box disappears as the program keeps bumping me to top of page.

Since the last thread has over 1000 posts I am asking you to repeat any problem you are still having.

Not much luck on the "Thanks" button. I will keep you posted.

I know some of you are having difficulting seeing certain areas.

If you feel this issue is strong enough that it will affect you visiting Websleuths then please post about it on this thread.

Not sure how much we can do on the colors at this point but please do not hesitate to bring problems to our attention.

How is it that I registered almost 13,000 posts over eight years but only have one like (my ego took over here).

Plus, with only one time-out during my active years, I already have 38 points? Are points earned only through negative behavior?

The likes are from the new forum so any old ones disappeared. Those 38 points are for badges and not for doing something wrong. You’re good

Also, since I'm unloading my thoughts, the last time WS changed servers, I lost about a third to half of my posts up until that time. I should have inquired as to why at the time but did not. Maybe Tricia knows the answer.

Click on the "38" trophy points you have and it will show you what they are for.

When on WS, see of it helps when you turn off Flash within advanced settings. Iirc someone instructed me to take this step due to long-running script. Now, when coming to WS, I turn off Flash and don't have that problem and can scroll smoothly.

Adding - the above remedy was used on the old forum though.
Today is my first day here so not sure how my computer will respond.
