I am getting " 403 Forbidden cloudfare" errors plus where all the ads were now shows errors and script (I don't mind about that) plus all the new Asian threads showing at the bottom.

(Does this new forum use cloudfare? )

I don't know, I have never seen that Cloudflare message here, but it wouldn't surprise me, one bit. Cloudflare is probably the worst security on the internet. They are the ones that usually keep legitimate posters out, by making them solve impossible to solve CAPTCHA, while letting the SPAMers right in. How could anybody take a security company like Cloudflare serious, with all the SPAM on the sites they are supposedly protecting?

That member has over 4,000 messages, 4 year member and has somewhat filled the void left by our dear departed member "Los"in starting Missing Persons threads.

Korean spam bots now discovered the Crime on the News section.

I‘d recommend an invisible honeypot captcha for WS signup (or even a regular reCaptcha for signup only, not for posting new threads).

Looks like the Korean spam is now gone as are the newest spammers with the gobbledygook user names.

This is like splashing cold water on my face at 5:00 AM. LOL

All handled for the moment.

Each time this happens we are able to make an adjustment to make it harder for the spammers to bypass our registration system. Hopefully, we got them this time.

If someone is going to spam us I wish they would at least make it interesting. Again, all I saw were posts about computer schools (I think) and that's just insultingly boring. Is "insultingly" a word? If not it is now.

I do have a few updates for you which I will be posting later.

Just noticed we have a quote button now between the like and the reply buttons. One more little button for my fat fingers to hit by mistake

Right! And when you hit the wrong one, that auto-fill-reply whatever won't go away.

Exactly! I must hit that reply button ten times per day by mistake. I already hit the quote button three times in the past hour. I’m so glad it didn’t open a dialogue box!

The reply unless you go through the steps of deleting draft and then refreshing the page. I’ve become a pro at deleting those
