Were Drugs Found In Caylee's Hair?

This report contains the results of the toxicology examinations of item Q59.1.

Result of examinations:

Alprazolam and clonazepam were not detected in the Q59.1 hair.

Additionally, the hair was screened for the following with negative results:

flunitrazepam, diazepam, midazolam, oxazepam, nordiazepam, triazolam, temazepam, lorazepam, and ketamine.

Any mention of anti-freeze in these studies?

Ive been reading some stuff about hair follicle testing. From what I understand, if Caylee were EVER drugged...it would be detectible through this type of testing.

BUT if you look at Caylee's hair in pictures, you cansee where it is thinning out.
Easter Caylee was in an Easter Bunny suit..........with ears.
Her hair style was long THICK pig tails. By the time in June she is cuddled up in her
GGPa arms, her temples have thinned out and her hair is thinner.
IMO, something was happening to this baby's internal system.

I do not recall any hair testing results ever being released. Not saying they don't exist, and if they recovered a skeletonized head with hair still attached one woulld think that type of testing would have been ordered.

Supposedly, hair testing will show drug metabolites going back 6-12 months when taken from a live person.

I have no knowledge how death would affect the results of hair testing, let alone submersion in water for a lengthy amount of time.

But I would think LE would have at least TRIED to test it. Unless they were advised not to bother even trying because it was already known that test results would be unreliable.

Nothing except statements made by the latest witness (RA). Personally, I think she was drugging her on antihistamines and "stuff" during the day. There was an instant message that I read from KC a while back in the discovery where she made reference to knocking Caylee out. I wouldn't know where to look to find it now though.

While I myself believe KC was indeed drugging Caylee, there has been no serology evidence nor hair follicle evidence of such. That doesn't matter to me. The fact that she said she did it in an instant message and the fact that she told RA that she did (along with her internet searches for chloroform, and the bottle of chloroform at the crime scene, and the chloroform that LE found in her trunk) proves to me that she did. Ahh...this is definately possible. I just searched through photos of Caylee...
I notice she never smiles, only grimices. And there are dark circles under her eyes...especially in the photo in grandpas arms.

I do recall that text message. Ive known of mothers giving benadryl to aid them to sleep...and THAT I am sure someone like KC did do.
But the chloroform...eh...Im not on board yet.
Even if they found a 5 gallon bucket of the stuff laying next to Caylee...if its not in her bones or hair...it would be hard to say it was given to her IMO.

Its like finding a gun next to a body with no bullet hole.

got older and KC used Benedryl,
then went to velveeta cheese laced with something stronger,
then to cloroform..(stronger)............to knock her out for hours!
On that fateful night I wonder if Caylee told CA about what KC did to her.
Between that and the stolen money, I think CA went into her rage on KC.
Caylee was old and smart enough to be a tattle tale.
So I think that is why KC used duct tape/ heart sticker..............

I think what Caylee has is what I have, I've only ever heard them called "baby hairs". When I put my hair up, especially if I have bangs it looks like Caylees. They are fine hairs in the very spot you are describing, about an inch or two long that I can't really do anything with.

You can't even see her temples in the Easter pictures because the head band to the ears is covering them, I just checked. Besides, the Easter picture with Casey holding her in front of the mirror, is a different angle of Caylee's head than we are used to seeing.

Not saying I don't believe she drugged her, just offering a possible explanation for your concern. :twocents:

To use chloroform to knock somebody out for hours you'd have to stand over them and administer drips every 15-20 minutes. A safe drip of chloroform doesn't last long. Nobody has ever used chloroform as a babysitting drug. There would be no point of using it if you have to stand over the baby dripping it onto a rag every 15 minutes.

IIRC, the talking heads who discussed the test results said those results don't mean Caylee wasn't dosed on June 16, any drug used on that day would not have had time to go through her system and into her hair.

BBM She was also wearing a lot of hats which IMO could also be the cause of this. My own girls seemed to go through stages when it came to their hair as well. Born with thick luscious heads of hair ....kindergarten pics were whispy frizzies...now beautiful and thick again

Was a different test done for chloroform?

Id think they wouldnt hold back THAT sort of information in previous doc dumps.

Jolynna,you are right on with the chloroform.I plan to recheck the body farm.I remember them saying no chloroform in her hair but it would have to
be given six months or more to show up in hair.
