I too am hoping for clear prints, a little saliva, the hair, along with some fur from the family's dogs. You know that tape picks up everything. Let it work this time!

IMO - I believe he doesn't have to prove it - he only has to introduce resonable doubt the prosecution has to prove guilt beyond that doubt.

Well if the evil little witch wore gloves to hide her prints, that points to premeditation even more to me! I hope they have something even more stunning as evidence that will make her fall to her knees!

But I must admit! I'm really bummed now! I didn't want anything wide open for LKB to be able to hoo doo voo doo, and I'm afraid she will have something to work with now!
I wanted prints! I wanted a slam dunk! I wanted KC put away forever like she deserves... for Caylee's sake!

Yup, because "sources" could just as easily be the defense team as LE. So I'll reserve judgement on the supposed lack of fingerprints until the docs are revealed, then we'll know who was right and who was spinning!

There was no valid report of diaper found with remains, so no print match.

Also "the knife" found with the remains has been mentioned again? That's a NGism as well.

No fingerprints on the tape: environment in which the tape was exposed to the elements... submerged in water and jostled around during the submersion, I imagine would be a huge factor in washing away prints on the tape.

LoL @ the defense statement on LP: while I have long felt that he has lied and needs to go home, believe it or not, I'll give LP a break on this... I want to see the docs first, because this is the defense we are talking about... it is in their best interest to try to play down evidence and divert attention to anyone else but their client. But if it is true that LP lied about the fingerprints, I have these 2 sentiments: #1 Duh... not surprised... and #2 the defense has no one but themselves to blame for him being in the middle of this... LP was brought in via defense connections. They made their bed and now they can wallow in the mess they helped to create.

ITA that the defense brought him into this to begin with and have nothing to complain about.

I do have to add that IMO, while LP can be way out there in his theories, he's pretty much been spot on when it comes to the evidence.

It will be interesting to see what is in the next doc dump.

Here's my fear. What if there are no reports on the duct tape that was found around Caylee's head when we finally get the doc dump?

Wouldn't they hold that back for trial? What if whoever is reporting no fingerprints on duct tape are saying that because there was no report in the doc dump.

The TH's were all so sure there would be prints on the duct tape even with all the elements it makes me wonder how bad it would hurt this case if there really aren't any. I know there is other evidence but this would have been slam dunked with fingerprints.

Possibly for identification purposes. KC "borrowed" things. Maybe GA wanted to be sure it was his and not one stolen from a friend. We don't know when the tape was placed on the gas can, do we? It may have been after she returned them. Did both cans have tape on them? If not...well, that blows my theory.

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe labeled to differentiate between regular and premium? Or just the raggedy adhered-to-itself ends stuck onto the closest convenient surface to discard later? Kinda like gum under the chair?

I remember him saying one was mixed with oil for the lawn mower and KC had grabbed that one and put it in her tank.
