WFTV - Some kind of protester tussle just happened?

I have just watched the extended version of what happened there, and OMG! That was horrible. For one thing, those two women looked ridiculous, screaming and having that poor child screaming insults and the baby on the hip crying and them telling CINDY what a horror SHE is...it would be laughable if it was not so heartbreaking.

I think that Cindy is just showing the world that her home (and that includes her yeard and easement) are her castle, and she will NOT be bullied at HER castle. She is BROKEN-you can see it in her eyes, and she is tired, and yet she has the courage to scrap with these peeps who have invaded HER territory and brought CHILDREN to the scene KNOWING that her OWN granddaughter is missing and she may never see her again.

Cindy, I for one wish that I could help you...I know that this is an unimaginably difficult thing that you are dealing with and I cannot imagine your anguish that you are keeping deep inside and contained...Heaven help you when the floodgates open and I pray that there will be someone strong there to get you through it...

Those protesters just made complete fools of themselves, harmed one of their OWN children right on national television and SHOULD face charges of child neglect or endangerment for that scene that they were involved in...Ridiculous...HOW was that peaceful protest?

OMG! What is wrong with this person? We're supposed to separate the A's from their daughter (according to their high-priced attorney on NG) and then she comes out and says that?!! What did he say? Something like the line is getting blurred between Casey and the GPs. After a comment like this...kind of hard not to lump them together. Whatever happened to this being about finding Caylee? JMO

I do not know your personal situation, but look around your life and note the one person who fills up all the empty places within you and brings you nothing but love and joy...Now, notice that person is missing, and then you have discovered that it is the next closest person to you who MAY be and likely IS responsible...???

I would NOT want to walk in Cindy's shoes...I would never want to find out what THAT is like and I think it IS important for us all to remember that Cindy did not hurt Caylee...she is simply IN DENIAL...a most horrid place to awaken from, and awaken she shall...

The emotions in this case run high and RAW ... so much so that almost any word you type into a Google search these days, brings up something on this case. All those that have been following it are exercising their theories, prayers, and suffrage ... both online and off.

With that being said: IMO ... there is an appropriate time, place, and method to express one's beliefs. I personally find it objectionable to show up at a vigil with the intention to be disorderly. Despite one's beliefs or Cindy's katzenjammer ... show up if you will, but light a candle and put the hostility in your pocket [save it for another time]!

Over and over again ... I've seen parent's, unethically outside the Anthony's home with their children in tow ... shouting and holding signs ... ABSURD! The women on Saturday iced the nincampoop cake with a very repulsive frosting! That baby was terrified and screaming, and that little boy ... well, I'll just shake my head at that.

For the record, the defenition of vigil: a devotional watching, or keeping awake, during the customary hours of sleep. The rite of staying awake for devotional purposes.
*Certainly it would not be acceptable to storm into other devotional services screaming "baby killer?" IMO*

Maybe it would be better if protestors get together, learn a powerful song and "caroll" instead of scream?

Thanks for this.

LE should start to ticket (although for what I am not sure) those protestors that bring their kids to the Anthony home. But on the flip side, I doubt "trailer trash" would know the difference. I couldnt believe what was coming out of that little boys mouth.....and his Mom didnt have a problem with it.

While I dont agree with alot of what the Anthonys do - I do commend Cindy for not attacking that woman - if it were my home and those protestors were there in my face I am not sure what I would have done...considering the circumstances Cindy kept her cool more than I would have.

I just watched the fiasco and can't believe it! I do believe KC is guilty and I do think the A's are in great denial - if I were in their shoes, I would be too - not wanting to believe my child could kill my grandchild. That being said, what a bunch of trash the protesters are - this crazy women has her children - or possibly one of those being a grandchild - out at night cussing, smoking, and involving them in something they shouldn't know anything about. Her kid learned this in school? I don't think so - it sounds like the most likely 7 or 8 year old child is learning about it at home - where he is also learning about beer?? I have three kids (14, 9, 7) and even though we drink and occasionally smoke - it isn't done in front of them - nor do we cuss and scream at our neighbors. I can't believe someone would have their children involved in this - I think that protester needs to be looked at for possible child endangerment - for having the child out in those conditions, and for slamming the kids arm in the door. I like the way they didn't really pay any attention to the kid rolling around on the ground and crying about his arm other than trying to pick him up and shove him in the car. And the oldest girl - with the kid - I presume is the nasty women's grandchild - stuck on her hip with all that attitude as the kids is crying. Give me a break.

As far as the A's being outside their home - it is probably all they can do to stay hulled up in their all day. I don't know how I'd react to having protesters, dolls, tombstone markers, webcams, and the news lights on in front of my house 24/7. Maybe the tape and no trespassing signs are their way of fighting back. I don't think I could hold my temper is someone was yelling all this crap at me and my family. Especially if I'm holding out just the tiniest bit of hope that my gchild is still alive.

Sorry for the long post - jmho

No flaming from me! ITA with you, inquiringmindz and others who put this disgusting display into proper perspective!

After watching that horrendous display from last night I have nothing but great pity for both Cindy and George A., for having their lives shattered on so many levels. If it weren't for the car trunk situation, I could believe that maybe, just maybe, there would be a possibility that Caylee could be alive. It is incredibly difficult to think of a dead child, especially one that you love and cherish. And then to think that your own child might be responsible for the innocent baby's death. And then, in the face of all that, to have to put up with what they are going through -- the invasion of privacy, the scrutiny. The Anthonys have done nothing wrong, other than to love their children and grandchild. If Casey is responsible for Caylee's disappearance and death, should George and Cindy turn their backs on their daughter? They have loved and supported her for 22 years. What mother, what father in this situation, could just cut their child loose? Casey lived a strange lifestyle - Cindy knew it and was trying to protect Caylee. Her plan backfired, and she ran out of time. She and George are heartbroken. There are no rules for behavior in their situation. Yes, they are trying to protect their 'castle', and they have every right to do so. They have every right to their hopes that Caylee may still be alive. We do not know what avenues they are pursuing. Some of their choices may not seem correct to us, but we do not walk in their shoes.

I am not saying I think Casey is innocent. I am saying I have great compassion and pity for the Anthony family. What a horrible situation they have found themselves in.

And, for what it's worth, I also think that Casey does not know where Caylee is -- whether it is a mental/emotional blockage, or if she were high and lost track of her. The entire situation is a frustrating mess for all concerned. How very, very sad.

I am glad some people are capable of having compassion and pity for the Anthonys because I cannot nor will I ever

I personally don't believe it's as much about one's ability to have compassion and/or pity ... because whatever your P.O.V is ... it is. It's MORE about one's ability to express that P.O.V in good-form... to demonstrate/protest with a maturity level that respects the boundaries and doesn't instigate confrontation.

When one ends up hurting their own child as they are smearing someone else for that very thing ... What good come's from that?

snipped...

it IS important for us all to remember that Cindy did not hurt Caylee...she is simply IN DENIAL..

you know what though? we still don't even know that for sure. we don't know anything.

argggghhhh.:furious:

IMO ... THAT is exactly why the type of behavior that is being displayed on behalf of protestors is simply outrageous!

We don't know if she killed anybody yet or if anybody is dead yet same thing the protesters and vigil people are doing.........it goes both ways here

well said.

when i saw that horrid display from that 'family' outside the anthonys, it had nothing to do with 'oh, those poor anthonys'.

it had everything to do with being disgusted at their actions and no respect for people who act like that. how i feel about them is separate from how i feel about the anthonys.

agreed. we can all speculate, and we can all think we know (and i do think a lot of us at least believe we know the outcome of this) but until it's proven, it's like, try to keep yourself in check, at least in front of your kids.

i have a feeling this woman's (the nasty protestor's) mentality doesn't change from day to day. i see women like her everywhere, the type of trashiness that just lives to stir up trouble and get things for free. ew.

lol, thank you, thank you.

it's a comfort to know others were sickened as well. i hope there is an update as to whether this woman will have to answer for her violently public display of utter filth and downright grossness.

I actually blame LE for allowing this to go on. I know all about the right to free speech, etc., but I can promise you if this garbage went on in front of a prominent, respected member of the community these protesters would have been hauled away on some charge or another long ago!

Can you imagine this going on in front of the prosecutor's home with with these same people screaming at him to arrest the :BABY KILLER RIGHT NOW:? Do people honestly think they would be allowed to do this every night to him? Heck no! A public nuisance arrest at least comes to mind.

The LE has not said *WE HAVE ENOUGH PROOF THAT CAYLEE IS DEAD AND WILL NOT BE PURSUING ANYMORE POSSIBLE SIGHTINGS FROM THE PUBLIC* They have not arrested Casey on this charge.

Information from a source close to the investigation is not information from the police! Traces of cloraform (sp?) is not necessarily a positive for it being used to kill Caylee! A search where cloraform turns up in the search answers is different than an actual search for cloraform. It could even be that cloraform was an ingredient in a cleaner and someone looked it up as a precaution before using it. WE DON'T KNOW how it was looked up and when and by whom!

What I am trying to say is think out what is being spoon fed to us by LE and think it through. So many people have jumped right from the limited facts and suggestions from unknown sources to absolute conviction of this woman for murder and conviction of her parents as being directly involved in her death.

Whew, I just had to say these things for the sake of sanity.

Lynchings are illegal for a reason (thank heavens!).
