WFTV - Some kind of protester tussle just happened?

  • #481
I hope they show the video on the news and the state opens an investigation on these "mothers".

me, too. i was hoping someone got their license plate number so the cops could follow them and question them.

i'm sure we'll all find out who they were when cindy gets served the hospital bill and a lawsuit...which she will, because someone as disgusting as this woman won't turn down that golden opportunity.

i do think it's pushing it. i think the anthonys, despite their involvement, fault, guilt, whatever, have had about all they can take. i do think if they were going to do something drastic, it would have happened by now. they're trying to get these people away from them, not settle it themselves. and no matter what cindy knows, or doesn't know, or is covering up, or not covering up, if i were here, i would have smacked that pig of woman, that poor excuse of a human being, myself.

yes, sometimes people pull into their driveways too fast, sometimes people get angry when someone gets in their business. all people do this. and most of us don't have missing/murdered grandchildren and people standing at our homes yelling at us.

so i guess we'll just agree to disagree, then. fair enough?

*this does not mean that i am taking the anthonys side. i just don't see all this as black-and-white like a lot of people do.

Fair enough... I wish others who are opposed to my views were as nice and civil as you are. Thanks for your kind consideration. :)

Is it really that ridiculous? Weren't a lot of posters here thinking that some media group put up $500,000 for Casey's bond so that they could get the exclusive story? I wouldn't put anything past the media anymore.

Yes, I think it is really that ridiculous. Apples and oranges. Casey is the center of this circus...there's a reason she might be offered money to tell her story (her family as well). The piddly little protesters, though...no way. They are a dime a dozen. Just look around at some of the other message boards out there -- I am sure plenty of morons who don't need monetary incentive to be an obnoxious protester.

The cops must know the woman's name. The newscasters today stated her name in each news clip, tho I could never catch it clearly. I bet it's in a story online somewhere.

What worries me is that I thought I heard the woman say this wasn't over, that she'd be back to finish it. Unless I was mistaken and I could have been since there was so much other shouting and Cindy was fighting GA and the others in order to get back to the woman who was, by then, driving off.
I think that woman had confronted CA before. And I'm worried about the vigil tonight. :(

Both Cindy and the protester were restrained, not just the protester. I think the protester instigated the first round, but she was actually trying to leave when Cindy chased her down and stood inside the car door yelling at her. They were both out of control. I think that's why the little boy made such a deal out of the door on his arm. I watched...it was not slammed, crushed or anything of the sort. I think he was so emotionally torn up that he thought maybe bringing attention to himself that way would make the rest of it stop. Pitiful! :(

I think Cindy was inside her house and heard what these people were yelling, and she got so incensed that she went outside and used the pretense of hammering in those signs (at midnight!) as an excuse to get out there, hoping one of them did say something so she could let 'em have it. She purposefully went looking for trouble, IMO, and she got it.

Some have harped on the Anthonys' right to be in their yard whenever they want, as if some don't understand that. That isn't the point, though -- no one disagrees with that at all. But you don't have to exercise a right just because you have one, especially when it's to your own detriment to do so! I mean, if there's say a rapist striking in your neighborhood, you don't go jogging alone at night just because you have the right to...you use your common sense and do what's best for your own interests.

Same principle with these protesters. Cindy has every right to be in her yard, but it's certainly not the prudent thing to do since it puts her in jeopardy of confrontation. She's not stupid...she knew exactly what she was doing and knew full well before she went out there at midnight to hammer stakes and string tape that there were some nasty people out there. She put herself in that situation on purpose, IMO, because she wanted to confront them. She has no control over her family, the media, the community...and she's not used to having no control. It's eating her up.

Every time she does that, it feeds the beast and they keep coming back for more because they know she'll give it. They win...she loses. She wins when she does NOT give them what they want (a chance to confront her in person). That is how Cindy would triumph over these people, but she can't bear to let anything negative go unanswered, as we've seen over and over the past couple of months.

i agree with most of this, well-said. i do think though, that yes, cindy was provoked and people can only take so much. and that's anybody, not just high-profile crime players.

also, i was aware cindy was also being held back, but that wasn't what caused the boy to be 'slammed' in the car door.

the part i bolded--i agree it wasn't as bad as the boy made it seem, but with how excited he was to be part of the action, i don't think he wanted it to end. i think he just wanted the attention on him. did you hear his mouth? what a brat his mom made him into. ugh.

This is the most logical, reasonable post I've seen all day. Thanks for sharing, Sherbie... :)

exactly. and i know people will think that saying stuff like this means you're sticking up for the anthonys, but honestly, this should not be allowed.

i understand they're in the public eye and under scrutiny, of course they are. but if i walked outside right now and just started screaming at my neighbour from the street like a lunatic, for whatever reason, it would be considered harassment, or a public disturbance, or whatever, simply not my right to do so, and i could be hauled off to jail.

that disgusting woman should have been dealt with.

you're quite welcome. i respect your opinion; everyone can't have the same one or there'd be nothing to talk about! :)

thanks for the update, manatee. does this warrant a new thread about the injunction? or is there one maybe? i feel like i've heard about this before, but no final details...

Are the Anthony's backing up their car? I FINALLY got webcam and all I see is their car in the drive with the trunk open. Don't see any of Team Anthony, though.

But I see protestors too. Marching back and forth. With signs.

Something bad is going to happen and someone's going to get hurt. It may not be Cindy swinging her hammer, but someone's going to get hurt. All you have to do is watch these videos of Lee flying into the driveway and destroying someone's poster, and George throwing little dudes stuff on the ground, and Cindy yanking up someone's poster or walking across the street in a fit of anger and getting in some crazy woman's face to know that something bad is going to happen. So no, I don't think it's pushing it a little. It's bound to happen; it's just a matter of time...

I'm with ya! I think it's going to be George who flips out first, that is, if a "protester" doesn't show up shooting first.

I still see them. They're going back and forth with signs. I doubt they'll be enjoined from the house altogether, although they might be told specifically where then can and can not stand and limited as to hours.

The web cam seems to be running an hour or so behind. It's been dark on the east coast for quite a while.

Personally, I'd like to see CPS looking at this woman from the vid, as well as Casey. (Cindy too, IF by some blessing of God, little Caylee is found alive and needs a guardian!) Don't know if there's cause to launch an investigation, but someone she might listen ot should ask that protestor woman from last night, I think, what the heck she was thinking!

CPS is already investigating Casey.

That little boy was yelling "I hope you die" out the window and no one made him stop!.. the mother showed NO concern when the boy started crying and fell to the ground other than to say "Come on, son". She couldnt even stop screaming at Cindy long enough to walk over to her son and check if he was OK, see if his arm was broken or something.

That's cause to open an investigation... I have no doubt once it opens they will find more things wrong with this womans mothering skills. I grew up with a mother just like this woman and I'm telling you it's leaves a mark it's sickning . That chick with the baby resting on her hip and she's screaming F^*#ing this and F^%$*&! that at Cindy. WTF.

We wonder why each generation gets worse and worse... look at the parents!
