What Did Casey Tell Psychiatrists?

Think back to when we all first heard about Caylee. I know I kept telling myself there is no way a mom would just kill her lil girl, I thought for sure it had to of been an accident. I had such a hard time wrapping my mind around it. I pray that the Jury gets a good look at the visit where Casey shows her rage.
Justice for Caylee is coming soon.

This is the problem I think I and all of us initially faced. We began by judging the evidence and ICA's guilt from our own perspective. Well I could never kill my own child, and I don't know anyone who would do that, and I can't imagine anyone who would do that so.......

Exception: when I saw the Perp Strut and that evil smirk in the blue hoodie, I had no doubt she was guilty. But then I have made every effort to verify that belief with the evidence to confirm it.

It's being hyped up!

We know from the motions that no MHP spoke "personally" with ICA. They used her statements made to LE to come up with reasons why she showed consciousness of guilt/state of mind...:maddening: JMHO

Justice for Caylee

The Defense Experts HAVE examined the Defendant, but are basing their expert opinions solely on statements that the Defendant made to them (no research into her background, mental health history or diagnosis of any condition).

http://www.wftv.com/video/27525949/index.html
Kathi is incorrect in this video report when she says the Defense experts have NOT examined the Defendant...they HAVE examined her.

Kathi is confusing Ashton's statements in the Motion in Limine with the Motion for Examination by Mental Health Expert (which was filed first)

- 04/12/2011 Motion In Limine as to Testimony of Mental Health Experts
http://www.cfnews13.com/static/articles/images/documents/casey-mental-health-0412.pdf
4. The reports indicate that the opinions of the experts are based entirely upon statements made to them by the Defendant. .[implied - when they examined her]

- 04/08/2011 Motion for Examination by Mental Health Expert
http://www.docstoc.com/docs/75720807/20110408-SA-Motion-for-Exam-by-Mental-Health-Expert
2. "The reports of those experts, and their partial depositions, reveal that their opinions will be based upon their examination of the Defendant.

I don't believe she told them anything.

I do! I believe that someone has told her that she is through considering her lies and conversations with detectives are coming into court. She had to make up another story in order to convince someone she shouldn't get the death penalty and that it was an accident that spun out of control.

Casey cannot tell the truth if Caylee's ghost was sitting in the chair next to her. She would rather have these doctors go on record and give hearsay testimony so that Ashton doesn't tear her lies apart of the stand.

She told them something, and my honest opinion is that whatever she told them would be discredited anyways..even if you put Casey on the stand, her testimony will only further piss jurors off.

The best thing the defense can do now is throw the science against the wall and pray it sticks. Either way, Casey will be convicted.

I'm guessing they will talk to the judge in chambers? Or as they say, "In Camera". Which by the way, I've never understood that. In Camera to me means ON Camera! Shouldn't it be "Out of camera"? :waitasec:

Camera is a Latin word which first meant a vault or a chamber. So "in camera" means in the judges chamber. This was the meaning long before the invention of photography.

I kind of feel part of what she told them was the molestation stories.

I still have a hard time believing she would ever admit to any wrongdoing - intentional or accidental. So I'm sticking with "my father molested me and killed my child."

well.......this whole time she has done nothing but proclaim her innocence while not doing one thing that would point to innocence. So i do not believe she claimed accident or anything like that. She either tried to explain away her "weird" actions when her child was "missing", ie molestation, or straight out blamed someone else for Caylees murder, like her parents. She will never admit she had anything to do with Caylees murder. The SA is simply following the letter of the law and not allowing this dt to put out ridiculous claims about her innocence or state of mind. They might as well try that girl right here in orange county. There really hasnt been that much on tv about except for the last month because the trial is coming and there is no surprise that the majority of the reports are slanted heavily to the defense. I am over the games that are played in the name of justice?? Like everyone says, if there was one thing, anything, that proved her innocence, where is it?? Are you to have us believe she gladly sat in a jail cell all this time so she could ride the money train??

Thoughts?

http://www.wesh.com/casey-anthony-extended-coverage/27535774/detail.html
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Prosecutors are so concerned about what murder suspect Casey Anthony told a pair of defense psychiatrists, they don't want the issue being discussed at all, not even at a pretrial hearing.

This is killing me!

The first word to put in my mind is LIES.

But I speculate Casey was thrilled :great: to tell HER side of the story to the 2 Dr.'s

Now what did she say to them...:dunno: but I wonder if she is still clinging to her BS life...I was an Event Planner at Universal..I have a Lanyard you know and I had a Nanny, her name was Zanny, she was a "10" and came from a wealthy family. Oh and she lived here and there and everywhere..or maybe not.
Casey was still telling those lies when DCF came to the Anthony home to interview/investigate them in Sept 2008

IMO, SA isn't concerned about what she said...it is just not legal for the DT to use their testimony without ICA taking the stand. period. end. of. discussion.

Afraid...NO...concerned...NO...annoyed...possibly...

From what I've been reading in the press releases, it's illegal! Mamabear1963, I believe you are spot on. If she isn't going to take the stand, then the MH testimony shouldn't come in either. It's a standing law as far as I know.

or am I not understanding all this correctly?

in camera actually means in room!

camera obscura means dark room - you can turn your whole room into one! you cover any and all light sources, doors, windows, except for one teeny tiny hole in a window...and you wait...and the whole of outside appears on your walls after awhile! some artists used to make art that way (believe vermeer was one) with the camera obscura room and just paint what appeared and ....this is also how a camera works (small hole and light!)

sorry, I will get off my OT dorkiness now, but really, google and try making a camera obscura, from a room in your house, it is SO COOL.

ETA link here, scroll down and read ....dont bother with their dumb paint can, you can make a pinhole camera yourself out of anything, even an altoids tin, much more cheaply

I regret, my friends, that LG is unable to immediately comment in this thread.:great:

LG is busy in the smiley icon department seriously searching for a smiley who is pulling a trailer of horse manure. :waitasec:

BBL.

Did you find one?

How can you tell if Casey is lying? :waitasec:

Her mouth is moving!

No matter what she told them, it was a lie. Big words, and lies!

Thats funny. I remember something I heard Judge Milian from peoples court said,
"I wouldnt believe a word that came out of your mouth even if your tongue was notarized." seems to fit here. lol!

I would call MSM flaming, BUT

IF (BIG IF) this is true I would vote for the molestation claim she made against George.

It would open the door to the GA did it "theory" and CA could claim that she killed Caylee to "protect" her from GA.

Just my :twocents:

I bet she said it was an accident she covered up and she was too afraid to tell anyone. So JA does not want the MD's testimonies to be the handy vehicle which will insert 'accident' into the picture. It's "her words" thru the MD's mouths, which is much better than from Baez' mouth. It's the next best thing to putting her on the stand to admit it 1st person, at least to get the accident story rolling, but they don't want her on the stand for obvious reasons.

I agree.

Yeah - that is a Judge Judy-ism...

How do you know when a teenager is lying - their mouth is moving!

I think it's the molestation BS. Supposedly what she told them was "remote in time."

This woman has one remarkable trait (apart from her Olympic size sex addiction) she can fool all of the people some of the time. She is an expert mimic and chameleon and can morph into any persona that compliments the person she interacts with. That's what worries me, she is a natural at reading body language and wheedles and simpers until the person she is talking to thinks they have a special connection. Including lawyers and doctors apparently...

I'm just wondering if the SA is REALLY that concerned , or if the MSM is hyping this up?

It's the drowned in the pool accident obviously without having Casey take the stand. Now that we know LKB has publicly said she lied and CM has said they cannot prove murder from the duct tape that's my conclusion. Of course the SA's don't want that story out there for perspective jurors to come in with that opinion. Not even that opinion but just as a possibility. Everything else leading up to it has imo indicated an excuse for why Casey didn't tell the truth from the beginning. Afraid of her parents, etc.
