What do we know about hair decomp ***REVISITED***

IIRC, Musikman picked up the docs but did not post anything because everything seemed to have been posted by the news organizations. But I can't find any news organization that posted the emails (although they quoted directly from them so presumably had the actual documents in their hands).

In the corrected link that we have provided it actually shows the one with the words "the dead mans ring" and describes it as from Yuri, so somebody out there has that email. Maybe someone should email Wesh and ask them why that particular document was not released when it was apparently in their possession?

You are most welcome. I know we have all wondered about this since the beginning if it was root banding or one of the other signs of decomp on the proximal root end of the hair, and seeing those words "the dead mans ring" certainly clears THAT one up for us...

I know the media, at least the ones who did that report, have the document because they showed it on screen, and it was apparently an email between Yuri and someone? as he was discussing the hair that the FBI had. But why we have not seen it released is a big mystery to me.

I did read something about the chloroform, an email where a fellow did not think it was a good idea that the info was released to the public and his hesitation to "continue in this work"...but cannot recall exactly which section it was in.

Hopefully someone can figure out where that document is and get it released so we can have look/see.:banghead:

I saw that email as well...and it appears to be related to the one shown on the video...the one that mentions whether the family had access to chloroform I'm having trouble locating...still looking though.

Well, I emailed B. Kealing and he says they're in the docs that were released. Couldn't give me any more info like pg. number...but he says the info is there in the emails. My computer will sputter and die if I go back in to that bottomless pit again. Anyone?

Calling all sleuths: this is a mystery worth solving! Where are these emails that were supposedly contained in this latest document dump? I have not seen any emails, much less the one from Yuri discussing the dead mans ring. So if anyone else on this forum has seen it can you direct the rest of us to its whereabouts? I emailed Wesh and inquired and will await an answer...but where oh where are these emails?

They (the email/s)are in the documents we've seen posted by the media. I remember seeing them. It's only a short section-one or two pps. IIRC.

Anyway, going to look back through my copies and notes and see if I can reference the page for you.

I recall seeing the emails regarding the premature release of the chloroform info from the body farm to LE, I don't remember emails regarding death band, but then again who knows how fried my brain was going through the doc dump. Later tonight (gotta go to a wedding) I am going through the last doc dump if no one has found the emails by then.

That's the only email I remember seeing also. It didn't make a whole lot of sense to me either. It seemed like there should have been other emails with it. Like it was just part of a conversation, but we only got one side.

There were a couple of emails where Cindy had forwarded a tip to John Allen and carbon copied Nick Savage, and coincidentally these emails were the same date (Sept 12th) as the statements that have just been released also signed Sept 12th.

I've been going back through the docs...nothing yet...but I did find that AL's phone number was NOT listed in the address book of Casey's phone...oh, and that the plastic bags they looked at weren't conclusively a match (even though some matched by other attributes)...I assume they're talking about a match with the bags from the house. OK...back to look again!

I also read on "the body farm".I cant believe they have so many pages om Caylee.I haven't seen any emails but I remember reading the one from fellow who said he'd quit, it was posted I believe with the report from FBI to OSCO..I am quite sure it was in the last drop.(oh to have a young mind again!).
