WHAT Has Been Said & By WHOM... That Baffles You? (aka Oh No They Didn't!)

This is just my own opinion of course but regardless of how crazy CA seems, I don't think she really realized Caylee was dead until the body was found. I think she probably thought it was all an elaborate scheme either by Casey or by LE to find Caylee.

I don't think she was dumb in this instance, just desparate. No different than a hostage negotiator trying to get the hostages released. Promise a plane and safe passage or a million $$$ or anything: just release the hostages. The gig was up and Casey knew it but I'm not convinced that CA knew it in her heart at that point in time.

To me this was Casey's confession to Cindy 8-14-08'

"I don't want to be one of those thousands of parents that has to deal with the possibillity that their child's alive and that that they're with someone else.
The thought of that everyday makes me sick."

Could she make it any more clear other then saying, I decided Caylee is better off dead then with you MOM !!!!!

Cindy tried to get her mother to lie for her too!

Cindy said she did have a babysitter's phone number and gave it to authorities. The number she said has been disconnected. She's also disputing investigators claims that no one spoke to Caylee after she was last seen at her grandparents' house the afternoon of June 16.

"I believe my mother also heard from Caylee during that time," she said.

George stated on an interview with a local news station or possibly GMA (not too sure which one) that Casey and Caylee were moving out on the last day that he saw them. But, soon after that interview, him and Cindy started saying that she (Casey) left for work, like any other day. Why change the story? I will try and find that interview with George, and post it. It was very early on in the case.

What totally baffles me is how a few people who knew Casey and many in the public almost are trying to help her by blaming others and giving her more excuses than they would any male baby killer. The Grunds and LP were running around giving interviews blaming Cindy and Tony, then trying to say it was probably an accident despite evidence of premeditation. After all the thefts, manipulations, lies, plotting, and all Casey did to everyone (including Amy saying that there were a couple of times that she woke with no memory of what happened as if she might have been drugged) Casey is still not seen as a very dangerous person who did this on her own and they were all in extreme danger. She is that good at fooling people, and even now that she's in jail and charged with premeditation asking for the death sentence. It's unbelieveable. If she doesn't get the death penalty then they can all thank themselves for polluting a jury pool.

The very emotional words spoken by Lee Anthony at Caylee's memorial service:

"CMA...I need you to know that I will never forget the promise that I made to you. I will never forget."

I have wondered since the day these words were spoken exactly who he was addressing. It would make sense to me if the words were spoken to Caylee. In other words he may have promised her that he would do everything he could to find and punish the person who murdered her. That would make sense. If the words were intended for his sister, then they make no sense. If he did make a promise to Casey, was it to keep his mouth shut? Very baffling.

Out of everything that has come out the A's mouths, the one that has baffled, angered, frustrated and made me feel like I was spewing fire, was CA's treatment of Tim Miller, who imo, is doing God's work here on Earth, and has his place in heaven secured.

God bless Tim Miller and TES!

Aside from that, pretty much everything that family says is baffling and usually leaves me scratching my head and saying, 'Whaaaaat?'

What baffles me is the amount of invisible people the A's know or have had contact with (or no contact): the nanny, Jeff Michael Hopkins, Juliet Lewis, the police officer who took the nanny phone number, Jeff's son, Jeff's mom, ZFG's family (all of them), ZFG's roommates, etc. No wonder no one shows up with the A's at court to support them...or maybe they do and we just can't see them. Then there are the people who KC claims are ZFG and Jeff but are actually other people listed under KC's "code talk". Is that "bridge" still for sale????? jmo

And let us not forget this gem from CA, 'Our investigators are finding out that everything KC said has been true.'

Then where the *bleep* are they to set LE and the State straight?

Read parts of Cindy's interview with the FBI and it is a Woman Under the Influence (of denial).

When she says and then KC (not verbatim) said she was going to stay with Jeff for a while, yade yade (and on and on) and that they were both looking to settle down and were thinking of marriage.

You really have to read that over and over to make sure you read it correctly because it is just inconceivable that one person will lie this much to herself to shield herself from the truth and tell other people the same thing.

I think at this point that Cindy has allowed herself to go unchecked in the reality department for the last three years and when that happens, imo, a person gets deeper and deeper into it.

She is going to have an awakening at the trial and I would not be surprised if we see her leave the courtroom many many times. The evidence is going to be shocking and the reality of how devious KC is will come to light. We all know this case back and forth but I will not be surprised if the State comes out with things to support its case (lies from KC and lies that mimic situations with her friends (that she has used and twisted). Her brother is going to be called and that testimony is going to be shocking to anyone listening especially the fact that she is a nurse and her daughter is some 7 months pregnant and Cindy insists no she is not.

Not sure if they will put the grandmother on, but they may and she may or may not talk about the some 40,000 that Cindy is out due to Casey's spending over the years - sending presents to friends, stealing, charging, etc. The fact that KC said she was going to work for two years and it was not true. The list is endless.

I do try and give a person the benefit of the doubt, but when I saw her lie after Yuri's testimony and deny her saying to him that they would refuse to help Yuri if he sent a car to her father's, I knew she out and out lies when she wants. And then when she is talking to the FBI later admits she said it and "stared him down". The woman will flat out lie.

This family lies - all of them, including Lee - when he says to prosecutors he did not get involved when KC was pregnant and George later tells them he was very upset she lied.

They are all lying and when the prosecution gets that across to the jury that the entire family is lying, that will be important, imo. Because then KC's lying to protect her family goes out the window because we have not only her lies, but her mothers, her fathers and her brothers. No one can believe anything they say.

And of course we have the 31 days and the 911 calls and KC saying I don't have anything to say to them and the fusion pictures which are beyond damaging to her.

I believe there is a grain of truth in that statement of Cindy's - as all their statements seem to revolve around the tiniest grain of truth. I think Casey told the investigators where Caylee's body could be found "she's close" - hence the search by Dominic Casey in the area on Suburban. I do wonder what would have happened if DC had actually come across Caylee's bones.......

Casey never told the investigators that Caylee was close.
She told her family that.
Casey told the investigators that she had absolutely no idea where her daughter was.

This woman lies nonstop. She lied when Yuri was on the stand re cindy saying she would not cooperate anymore if he sent a car to her father's house in one breath and then tells the FBI she told him that.

Just the fact that she could let KC leave every morning for two years to go to a NONEXISTANT job (with her granddaughter) tells me that Cindy is willing to go with anything. But I don't believe she ever expected KC to kill her granddaughter. Having said that, George and Cindy KNEW they should get custody (and Cindy used the "I don't have the money to do that" rather than going ahead - I don't think she was sure she would get it and did not want to chance losing Caylee forever) - even though KC had committed felony after felony with the stealing.

Baffling for sure (now that we have seen a zillion other quotes from the A.'s...not so much baffling anymore) but this was very early on in the case and all I can remember is scratching my head and going, "Huh?" Now comments like these seem par for the course with the A.'s:

“She has been kidnapped by a person the local authorities said doesn’t exist. There are nine people with that name in Orlando, Florida. There are four people with that name in Winter Haven, Florida and there are people with that name in Miami and four people with that name in New York City and three in the Bronx. So come on folks, someone needs to start listening to my daughter and if it is not the local authorities, will the FBI please get involved in this case and come and interview my daughter like she has been requesting?”

THis video is an excellent compliation of some of the most telling remarks I have heard from JB, Todd Black, GA....

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hnck-GixltU"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hnck-GixltU[/ame]

JB: I have worked for Casey Marie Anthony. Have????
JB: I follow her instructions.

GA: It's been 4 months today my granddaughter's been gone. Gone not missing??

TB: The loss of life of this little girl.

Makes you wonder, doesn't it. CA said she had no money to go for custody but they were being robbed blind by their daughter stealing money from them. All CA had to do was report KC, have her arrested and ask for custody of her child because Mom was stealing money from family members. What else was she doing? How many things did KC purchase with her mother's credit card and then return the items and get money back? The amount of money charged on those cards does not equal what KC had to show for it. Where did the money go???? jmo

She was also buying presents for friends and sending them. Her grandmother (Louise?) says Cindy went through 40,000.

http://www.wftv.com/news/16991834/detail.html

"Is it safe to say you believe the babysitter story?" WFTV reporter Steve Barrett asked attorney Jose Baez.

"Absolutely," he said.
----------------------------

"I think that's somebody's spin. I really do. I think the point is it stinks in that car. Okay. She's not a cadaver dog," Baez said.

---------------------------------------

And the Best of All from that Article

In recent days, Baez has stumbled, seeming confused about his own case, often talking in circles.

"It was pizza. They looked in there and it smelled bad because of the pizza," he told Barrett.

"Buying presents for her friends" is Cindy-spin. She couldn't admit to Shirley that her selfish, lying, thieving, sleeping around daughter was stealing money to spend only on herself! Not even a box of diapers for Caylee. Disgusting liars, all of 'em! (except Shirley)

LambChop poses a good question, though. What did Casey have to show for all that bank-account pilfering? Not much from what I've seen.
