WHAT Has Been Said & By WHOM... That Baffles You? (aka Oh No They Didn't!)

"Buying presents for her friends" is Cindy-spin. She couldn't admit to Shirley that her selfish, lying, thieving, sleeping around daughter was stealing money to spend only on herself! Not even a box of diapers for Caylee. Disgusting liars, all of 'em! (except Shirley)

LambChop poses a good question, though. What did Casey have to show for all that bank-account pilfering? Not much from what I've seen.

I don't know about that. KC would do something like that e.g. to Brandon Snow when he was in Iraq. I would not be surprised. I can also see her sending presents to people, birthday, etc. - "look what a good friend I am". She probably did.

This woman lies nonstop. She lied when Yuri was on the stand re cindy saying she would not cooperate anymore if he sent a car to her father's house in one breath and then tells the FBI she told him that.

Just the fact that she could let KC leave every morning for two years to go to a NONEXISTANT job (with her granddaughter) tells me that Cindy is willing to go with anything. But I don't believe she ever expected KC to kill her granddaughter. Having said that, George and Cindy KNEW they should get custody (and Cindy used the "I don't have the money to do that" rather than going ahead - I don't think she was sure she would get it and did not want to chance losing Caylee forever) - even though KC had committed felony after felony with the stealing.

This is what kills me. All she had to do was report her daughter to the police for stealing, not only from her, but from Casey's grandmother as well. Or heck, get Amy to report it, or anyone else that Casey stole from to report it. Then Casey would go to prison, and Cindy would have custody since Casey can't have custody inside a jail cell (I mean physical custody). The fact she wanted a perfect family image so bad kept her from doing that, and so she came up with the no money excuse - well DUH, Cindy, Casey was STEALING all your money from you!!!!! No wonder you didn't have the money to get custody of Caylee! It was a just an endless circle of denial and coverup with her, and in the end, it cost her Caylee's life.

I think Cindy was afraid that she would not get custody and then KC would take Caylee forever. She knew that KC was not working and that is what I can't get by - the fact that she let KC take the baby out every day knowing she was NOT going to a Nanny, and more to the point not knowing where she was going - you shake your head "whaaaat".

Cindy tells Diane DB that she did not feel it necessary to get a phone number for Zanny because Zanny would have called her if there were a problem. Then she tells her that she gave Zannie's number to a detective and then tells her that SHE NEVER thought of calling Zannie when she got home with KC from Tony's. Yet she had the number (she says). I wouldn't be surprised if we find that she called thenumber she gave that night and it was one of KC's friends.

I also believe that in the beginning when George went to detectives and told him what he thought re odor in the car, etc. that he would have been willing to admit that KC did this thing if Cindy and Lee had not had a "hellacious" argument with him saying he was on the side of the prosecution. Instead, imo, he is willing to basically go insane in front of the world with these ludicrous interviews and statements (also being in law enforcement for 10 years). So he has decided to live the lie and transfer his anger towards LE. Remember, he was heard saying "I can't live like this" and then asked to leave the house. He is weak and he is willing to live with this lie rather than speak the truth.

These two have to live with this mountain of bs and I don't know how they are doing it.

How soon after spokesperson Todd Black revealed that Caylee was dead in an on-air interview was he fired?

I had never heard this interview before. He sure sounds like he knew what he was saying. And he never hesitated after the words were out of his mouth, now did he?

I've never seen that clip either although I've heard of it. I love love love Mike Galanos's reaction! She's ridiculous! I'm telling you all the State has to do for a closing argument is play those clips of JB saying everyone will say Now I Understand.

From the looks of THIS they must have been on a first-name basis with the local cops.

I've never seen this- what's the 6/24/08 "Burglary- Residence" call? It says a "Non-Violent Domestic Violence" report was filed- was this Cindy calling about the car being 'stolen'? The missing fishsticks? Y'know, for people who are soooo anti-LE, they sure seemed to call them a lot.

This was George reporting the break-in of his shed and the theft of his beloved gas cans. Casey showed up later that day with them. So George says. But he never thought to call the police when he smelled the death car and brought it home. Shows what's important to him, eh?

I would really appreciate any comments on the following:

Re reading Lee's interview with prosecutors and he AGAIN says Jesse Grund flat out lied to him about meeting Tony Lazarro at the pool. I find this hard to believe since Jesse flat out TELLS Yuri and JA in his interview that he met Tony at the pool party and it was almost as if KC wanted his approval. The prosecutor does not show him his error and lets it go.

Immediately prior to this, the state says to Lee if we could show you some proof that the tips were checked out would it mean anything to you (my words) as far as Jesse's implication by you. Lee says no. So maybe they are letting the pool comment go for that reason or just that is their strategy.

From my perspective, Jesse is NOT lying at all about this and if he had told prosecutors why not tell Lee.

My question to anyone is do you think Lee is deliberately lying. Don't laugh. I know the family's reputation but why do you think he would say this if it is in black and whie and recorded that Jesse told Yuri and JA this a year or so earlier.

Also, part two: I don't recall Tony ever riding in KC's car. He had his jeep. When he went to pick her up at Amscott, she was waiting for him packages in hand. Lee specifically mentions this incident. He is not called on it but I assume prosecutors are holding this information.

I really would like to know your thoughts on the first post re Pool. Thanks so much.

No Jesse wasn't lying, but why LE didn't mention this to Lee is beyond me Solace. And not laughing at all here & Yes I think he is deliberately lying. Why? Who knows with this family!

IIRC, (which anymore is a 50/50 shot) TL did ride in the Pontiac when Casey took him to pick up his jeep from the mechanic. I'll locate a link...

As far as Lee lying...pfft! That whole family was wanting, hoping, steering LE to investigate JG. Cindy tried to manipulate LP with a card JG had given Caylee, trying to make it sound sinister. Lee was working on some friend of a friend who said JG had forced himself on her, where did that go??
GA tried his best to cast JG in a bad light with LE, insinuating he was hiding something because he got his dates mixed up on one phone call. Really GA? Really? That whole interview is disgusting!!
IMO, they all wanted JG's head on a pig pole and tried every way possible!

I think LA lied about that to cast suspicion on JG. Apparently, it was a plan hatched in the law offices of JB.

Plucked from the calendar of events. Thank you Shadow of my mind for the post!

June 9 Casey picked up Tony from school [3300 University Blvd Winter Park, FL 32792] and took him in her car to the garage to get Tony L.’s jeep. [Tom’s Auto Repair needs address] They had Caylee with them. Went back to his apartment to drop of a vehicle, did not say which one, and then went to Subway at the corner of the Target parking lot on the corner of University and Goldenrod Rd. [as best as I can tell Target 3770 N Goldenrod Rd Winter Park, FL 32792]

The Anthony family lie just to lie. They do not want to be confronted with the facts of this case because they created their own facts. We're talking about a family that is now saying that Caylee is still alive. They will ignore DNA evidence, forensics evidence, eye witness evidence. It matters nothing to them. All that matters is the stories that they have created in their own minds. Don't try to understand them, because if you get to a point where you can completely understand how this family works it means that you would have to be just like them because I don't believe anyone can understand unless you are one of them.

No Jesse wasn't lying, but why LE didn't mention this to Lee is beyond me Solace. And not laughing at all here & Yes I think he is deliberately lying. Why? Who knows with this family!

LE would have been stupid to give Lee Anthony any information on what other witnesses had told them. LE knew early on that this family had no intentions of helping them in the investigation. Even when Cindy tells LE that she believes Zanny could be code for Jesse... LE simply tells her that they are pretty certain that Jesse had nothing to do with Caylee's disappearance. They told her nothing else.

The State, in doing their depositions with Cindy, George and Lee, never confronted them about their inconsistencies. They never asked George why Cindy said he did put the tape on the gas can. They never asked Lee why Cindy would say she knew nothing about Dominic Casey being out in those woods prior to December 11th, 2008. They didn't confront Cindy about George saying she did see Caylee on the morning of June 16th, 2008.

LE and the SA just want simple answers. They don't need to know what Lee, Cindy, and George think about what other witnesses had said in their sworn testimony. Now, rest assured, when they are on the stand at trial, the SA will use these inconsistencies against them when the time comes and they will have to be mighty quick on their feet.

All my opinion of course.

Hi
Not laughing...good questions.

1)As far as Jesse, I don't have confidence in what Lee said, I don't know if Lee is deliberately lying but he wanted LE to turn their focus towards Jesse.
I agree with you, Jesse told LE the truth, even TL recalled the same story of how the 2 met...on May 31st
http://www.wftv.com/download/2008/0923/17540075.pdf page 10

2) iirc, Yes Tony did ride in Casey's car,(during the time Caylee was missing) Tony was looking for a new place to live and they went to look at an apartment..sometime between June 16 and20th and iicd Casey forget her ID/DL (yet she was the driver) so she couldn't go in to see it with him...

I remember that statement came from Lee in an LE interview

This what I found..an email from Lee to Melich about it
http://www.thehinkymeter.com/Library/CMA/emails/employmentver.pdf

I have not seen any LE interview with this Heather person

When LE interviewed Casey's former boss Mike Kozak (Kodak) he is asked about Jeff Hopkins, Juliette Lewis and Heather Mcdonald. He answered NO to the first 2 and Yes to Heather

I agree with all of this! :) Also, I would like to add that LE may have simply wanted to see just how far the A family would take their "half-truths" and "mis-truths" because in any city in any state anywhere in the world, there is only one reason to lie during the investigation of a murdered toddler. Because you don't want the truth to be told. JMO
