I know this isn't the "what holes are there in the PR theory" thread, so I apologize in advance. I think JR removed the tape when he found JBR, correct? At that point it's compromised evidence - if he tossed it on the floor, it's just going to pick up whatever fibers happen to be there, JR's fingerprints will be on the tape, etc.

I'm not sure I can blame JR for that - I would like to think that if I found the body of a loved one in the context of a crime scene the only thing I would touch is my cell phone, but I've never been through that. I've never lost someone I have been very close to.

There is very little known evidence to link BR because the wine-cellar is not the primary crime-scene that is likely to be JonBenet's bedroom.

Patsy and John faked a crime-scene in the wine-cellar, including tossing in JonBenet's pink barbie nightgown, their forensic signature is all over this crime-scene.

So it could be the case is patently PDI or Patsy was staging for Burke, only time will tell?

Precisely. If you're looking strictly at the evidence and not applying pure conjecture (as BDI does), this is really the only argument you need; in addition to the fact/hole that, for BDI, you have to blindly believe that PR & JR were good enough to stage any trace of BR out of the crime, but not good enough to stage themselves out of the crime.
