What is Misty hiding, IF anything?

I can imagine LE is confused with her interviews. If you really want confusion, try watching all her TV interviews. They change every time she's on. I wonder if LE has had her go through the story backwards. They say that's a way to trip up people who are lying. JMO

Ronald was at work and if Misty was asleep...what are they supposed to tell them?! I think the inconsistencies arose from their own theories of what could have happened trying hard to fill in some blanks.

Casey told her own version of what happened which was all lies from the very beginning until the end. Misty, by all accounts, hasn't lied to LE that anyone is aware of yet. What she has said in the press cannot dictate what she has told LE. If they haven't caught her in outright lies...then who is to say she isn't being truthful with them? LE has not said she lied.

Misty doesn't seem mature and seasoned enough to keep up an act. That's the only thing that bothers me about whether she's involved or not. She's no casey anthony . . . .

If she was a caseyanthony she'd be in custody right now. She'd have made the mistake of making up a convoluted story about who took her and it could have been proven that this person does not exist or it could not have happened the way she said. But if someone sticks to a simpler story such as I don't know what happened it's harder to prove wrong.

It doesn't to me. LE will take liberties in an interrogation and call people every name in the book in order to raise their ire on purpose. This tactic is widely used and they are allowed to lie openly to a subject plus use fabricated props during that time.

Yes but they do not always lie. Knowing that she was called a liar we cannot automatically assume that everything she told LE was the truth and they didn't catch her telling anything else. Especially when their representatives have expressed their frustration with the way her interviews went. In my limited experience, when LE are convinced someone is being upfront and honest, they don't usually go on record on TV saying they're not happy with her interviews.

Yes, they do take liberties in interrogations... when they are trying to trip someone up who they think is holding back, or outright lying. If it's obvious that a witness is telling the truth, they don't use these tactics, they don't need to.

I have heard that rumor for several months. I was led to believe that was nothing but a rumor that was put to rest and Misty still had no counsel. If you have proof of her having retained an attorney, I'd like to see it please (including the name if you'd be so kind). TIA.

Yes and it's also little known that Polygraphs are NOT lie detectors. Rather, they are a process that LE uses to determine who should be interrogated further. You know that you're suspicious in their eyes if they do a follow up interview or request multiple tests.

I have no idea if she has an attorney (imo she should have one), but apparently, according to AH's most recent article, LE reports she's no longer cooperating.

I absolutely believe that Misty has no attorney. Although, like someone else said, she should have one, and should have from the start. Maybe by now they'd have have better luck with her - had her hypnotized or something. Time is wasting and that is no good.

I am pretty sure that if Misty did have an attorney, we would have heard about it through some media source. Someone would have seen her going to their office, or it would be leaked in some way. IMO, she needs one... and one that is ethical enough to advise her to cooperate with LE. Any atty. who advises the parent or caretaker of a missing child not to talk to LE is not worth a nickel, IMO. That only makes them more suspicious. How can LE move forward with this case if they can't get a straight answer from the person who last saw Haleigh and who was supposed to be responsible for her?

I was under the impression that MC didn't have an attorney, "b/c they are for guilty people" and i just assumed that she was following que, by RC's attorney's telling RC what to do and what not to do. We already know she is NOT being represented by RC's attorney's.

Has anyone seen MC lately? just wondering.....
