What is the most vexing true crime case in your life? What is the one case that you need to know how it ends?

#1 Haleigh Cummings, after that in no particular order, Kyron Hormon, Serenity Dennard, Summer Wells, and Sky Metalwala (sp?) All totally mind blowing, heart breaking cases!:(
You read my mind. I was thinking Haleigh Kyron and Skye.
Wonder where ole Misty is these days?

The WVU Coed Murders

On January 18, 1970, two West Virginia University freshmen students—Mared Malarik and Karen Ferrell—left a screening of Oliver! at the Metropolitan Theater in downtown Morgantown. Looking to hitch a ride back to the dorms, they entered a cream-colored sedan. This was the last time they would be seen alive. In April, their decapitated and decomposing bodies were found in makeshift graves in a wooded area 10 miles south of Morgantown.
Their heads have never been recovered and the case is still unsolved.

here's their WS thread if you're interested:

The disappearance of Gabriel Johnson.

And also the real truth behind how that jury could possibly have found sociopath Casey Anthony not guilty of her daughter's murder given all the facts and evidence and how they can live with themselves every single day.

Ciera Breland.

She is an attorney (like me) and lived in my county. It’s so very frustrating that Xavier, the husband and POI, is the guilty one but her body hasn’t been found. It’s a very interesting and not popular thread and I highly recommend joining in. Xavier is being held in jail for illegal possession of a firearm while on parol with a pretty harsh sentence. Plus additional intimidation charges

My top case is Liz Barraza. I just can’t get past it. She seemed so sweet, happy, and full of life. Such a bizarre and tragic case—and so seemingly solvable.

Another one for me is Jason Landry.

I'm an alum and had never heard of this until just recently... Then again I graduated in '08 (my dad was '78). Unless they lived in Towers (which were either new or hadn't been built then), IDK why they wouldn't just walk to the dorms from the Met. Maybe the sidewalks were icy and that made for a difficult hike up High St, which gets steep around Boreman South. Boreman North is just a little further, but Dadisman or Stalnaker could've been tough.

Call me old fashioned: Murder of Elizabeth Short (I am nor sure is there thread for her, most likely, yes.). More famously known as the Black Dahlia Murder.
I like a lot of these older cold cases, and I am aware that likehood for them to be solved isn't as high.

There is so many others too, that it would take forever to write down.

(Then there is case of my friend, extremely likely not posted at all in this forum and might stay colder than absolute zero for years to come. )
