While I do want to be aware of these deep sea creatures, who are so beautiful, by the way, I am fearful that also, the depths of the ocean and the glorious creatures who dwell there, will be exploited by humans. It was exciting for me to know that James Cameron was exploring the depths; however, there were other explorers mentioned in the articles who have built vehicles to plumb those previously unknown, unassailed environments. Get ready for a "Whale Wars" of the deep ocean. JMO, of course.

I seen this thing too a few days ago on daily planet . I see someone mentioned what some scientist's and marine biolegists thik that its a whale placenta OR that its just a really old drift net for fishing that was lost some time ago . For me i have no clue but i dont think its the placenta from some whale for too reasons one they usually eat it right away so sharks and other predators dont pick up the scent and if it was a whale placenta and left to float away you woulda seen tons of fish attacking it and eating it but thats jut what i think..It's wierd though thats for sure.
