What questions should Mr. Morgan ask at the second G and C depositions

Yeah I am sure the decomp smell was not the problem at all. Dam those stinky cigarettes.:waitasec:

Pizza is to decomp smell what cigarette smoke is to what they were smoking over there at the apartment. No prudish declaration here, just pointing out that when GA repeated that in reference to washing Casey's clothes from TonE's apt., he was once again covering up the truth.

I don't know if Mr. Morgan is doing this for fame. He seems to already have plenty of business in Florida. I wonder if he volunteered to do this for the woman sueing because he kept seeing on the news where KC had all these high-dollar pro bono attorneys and thought he would stand up for a person that was struggling based of lies that KC had told. She was the only one at Sawgrass and her picture was pulled by LE. I imagine his business is several times larger than the other Florida attorneys representing the CA, GA, and LA, so I am glad that someone is standing up for her. I hope that anyone that CA, GA, or LA have thrown under the bus gets good representation that doesn't cost them money. They did not put themselves into this situation, they were dragged in. IMO

I completely agree. I have the utmost respect & admiration for Mr. Morgan and think it's fabulous that he's helping ZG. And as we've seen from the depos, it's no easy task!! :)

She did not put herself in that position, and I am glad she is getting good representation.
and she has been exonerated.
AND nobody's business is so great that they do not need to advertise,
This kind of a visible case Men far more well known then he is would go after; the visibility
is worth its weight in gold.
This kind of visibility is the case they dream of. It is better then an interview,
or 100 good ads.
YES he is doing far more for the PR.

I'm glad she has representation, too. And this is so off topic, but if I were Zenaida and that little nitwit caused my children one moment of fear from death threats, a deposition would seem like a dream vacation compared to the h*ll I would unleash.

In my opinion the only reason she has been exonerated is because it benefits GA and CA financially to exonerate her. They are still saying that someone with a name close to hers kidnapped and murdered Caylee. CA even mentioned someone being watched in Puerto Rico.

Is he getting good PR? Yes. I wouldn't turn down good PR either, but there is no way to represent her without his name being out there. I have no problem with his business growing. I imagine that is everybody's goal as a business owner. He apparently is very good at what he does though because his client has maintained her integrity during the deposition when the people across the table where hollering at her, talking about her physical features, etc...It appears to me his firm is doing a good job and I wish them much financial success. Maybe they will help more people that cannot afford quality representation but deserve it.

Thank you. I live in Florida, so I keep hoping they will move the trial and maybe I would get picked for the jury. I wonder if my being a Websleuths member would automatically kick me out. How many people are hoping to get jury duty :)
They are not going to ask you if you are a member :)
GO for it, this will be an interesting case to sit on.

I do hear your point = to the extent that he represents her he is visible, and that is true.
and Yes ZG was civilized.

But IMO her attorney was as offensive as G&C.
We really do not need another viewing of this show.

For what ever reason she has been exonerated - SO BE IT.
It is DONE.
If anything comes up in the future, and in this case there really are no guarantees, he would have to deal with that down the road IF it comes up. Doubt it.
EXONERATED!

Back to the topic...I would like them to ask GA if he had ever asked KC to meet the nanny. Has their PI gone to Puerto Rico? Since it seems he cleaned the cars a lot, did he ever see anything in the car that showed proof of a nanny...a note, phone number, anything?

  • #68
 Since that one cant be verified it would be too easy for her to BS about what Caylee may have said :(.

You are right. She could use this to go into talking about the puppy. Hardly a reason for a choke down later...

Wouldn't it be interesting to actually have a juror who has already read all the discovery and listened and watched all the interviews. I would be open-minded, I promise. If it wasn't eligible in court, I would not use it in my decision making. See I have been practicing, and I actually mean it. You have dashed my hopes :) So far I have had jury duty twice and been picked twice. I was hoping to make it 3 for 3 :)

I agree -- I don't know if he's doing it for fame or out of the goodness of his heart (maybe a little of both). Either way, I don't care. I'm just glad he is representing her.

Question to Cindy:

During your LE interview you said Zanny could have been a name used for anyone who was watching Caylee (I'm paraphrasing) at the time. She went on to say perhaps Zanny was JG or AH. In her last deposition, she said she had a picture in her head of what Zanny looked like (perfect 10, straight teeth, etc). Which one is the truth? Why didn't you say she was real a real person and not a generic name because you had addresses/phone numbers?

EXONERATED!

She is exonerated to us because we follow it closely, but I bet that if I asked anyone that I work with who their family claimed kidnapped and murdered Caylee, they would give a name similiar to hers. I try to keep some of them informed of the case, but they just aren't addicted like I am. When the civil trial goes to court and the court determines that she is exeronated, then legally she will have been.

I think this too has to pass...Exonerated may not mean go to civil court. We'll see.
I personally think they need to go home and stay home. REALLY.
and not come out till the criminal trial begins.
They can not help anyone, including themselves.
If this is about the Nanny: they never saw a nanny - Enough is Enough.

I think Morgan is also trying to prevent future harm to ZG during the criminal trial. There has to be a reason why Casey took the 5th on the questions and won't exonerate this ZG under oath. Perhaps the defense wants to keep the option open to throw her name around during trial as a feeble attempt at creating doubt. If Morgan wins this civil case I don't think they can point the finger at this ZG.

The Anthonys are extremely difficult to get a straight answer from simple questions. I thought the lawyers seemed quite patient considering their lack of respect for the court or the truth.

ITA.

In addition to their general belligerence at being asked questions, the A's usually don't really answer the question that has been asked. They just reply with some statement that they want to make. Even in a "friendly" situation like the Early Show interview. It's so bizarre. If you start really paying attention to how they speak it just gets weirder and weirder.

I think the closest thing to a straight answer I ever saw out of CA was when Morgan finally forced her into a yes/no answer and got her to admit that she did not clear his clients name when she had the chance. I think having to give a truthful, one word answer is what made Cindy blow up there at the end.

Judging from the depositions, I got the feeling that at times GA did not care what answer he was giving, as long as it was contentious. So, I would like to get some real answers about the Blanchard Park scenario.

Also, why when he smelled death, he wanted the tow yard guy with him when he opened the trunk. As a witness?

Also, if he thought that smell was pizza, why he even bothered to drag that tow yard guy into witnessing him opening the trunk.

ITA. He had seemed in prior interviews and such that he was trying to tell the truth, but in the depositions it was like he has decided to give up and go with whatever story CA told him to use. Although his character has been called into question by his job, loss of money and other actions, I had hoped he would stand up and tell the truth under oath, but now I am worried about that for the murder trial. At least the SA will see what they are going to have to deal with in the next trial.

I think that if CA and GA had just stuck to the yes or no answers it would have ended quickly and been over with but they either refused to answer, which raised flags on issues, or rambled on about extra information.

Well said. There are still people who think ZG has some sort of connection to the crime because no one really knows how Casey got her information from Sawgrass that day.

Also, Cindy questioned the integrity of LE during her depo by saying she wasn't sure if they were telling the truth when they said they showed Casey a picture of ZG but she didn't recognize her. Perhaps the defense is going to attack the integrity of LE and say Casey never saw a picture of this ZG.

I would like to see ZG cleared in this civil case before trial to prevent any funny business from the defense.

Another question for Cindy:

What did you mean when you left a voice mail with LE saying Casey had to have had help? Help doing what?

Was it JM who asked this question to LA? This needs to be asked to CAGA.
Concerning the differing stories and the "script" and fearing for the lives of the Anthonys.

How is ZFG at Sawgrass and ZFG at Blanchard Park any different?
And then have JM go "DERRRRRRRRRR!"

Both of them were well rehearsed for the first depositions. Their answers were almost identical, their outrage at being importuned in lock step. Their demeaning and disdain from Zenaida obvious. For some reason (Brad Conway) they thought they could just waltz in, say, this woman is not the nanny, though we have never seen her, but come on she's not worthy of our time...she's no 10...
Who the heck do they think they are?
Off topic again, I sorry....
silly monkey....
New question. If you have never seen Zenaida, how can you be certain this is not the Zenaida? You have said yourself your daughter lies, but with a hint of truth. You have said she will do anything to protect Caylee and her family. You have said she was following some script. How can we be certain this Zenaida will not be named again down the road?

And again, this is off topic, but we have no idea what GA said to the grand jury. We only suppose he was heroic and honest.
