I'm surprised Kelly Clarkson won. The way the votes go now- not on talent, but on which artist is "cute" and a fantasy for teens and soccer moms- she wouldn't win now. It's not even marketability anymore because these winners don't sell anything post show. I agree with Adam Levine when he said he hated the audience on the Voice this week. It was sarcastic, but it was so on point. ETA: I know that he never would have gone on the show, but I kinda would want to see the late great Tupac on there.

I was a fan of hers until I heard her sing live. Good God it was awful. I'm pretty sure they don't allow auto tune on those singing shows.

Totally OT here but I have known Tupac's mom for about 4 years now. Very interesting woman who's lived a very interesting life.

Jealous. She seems like a very interesting lady. Anyway, OT- I would say that Celine Dion wouldn't make it. Beautiful voice, but would get passed over for someone who sang less ballads and was an attractive non- threatening boy. Or a country girl.
