Those things are scary!!!! I saw one while I was out fishing one time - it swam up near the boat and it looked like a floating fish head - yuck!

Hi Vichy...

I was on a private fishing boat off of Dana Point here in California
once (sick as a dog and leaning over the side) when one of these
passed under the boat. Seeing the head first; I thought it was a shark -
then all of a sudden - no more body! I leaned so far over the boat, I almost
fell in! These fish are huge!

They're really something, aren't they? The Monterey Bay Aquarium had 2 of them for awhile, but had to release them because they got too big for the tank! Seeing that fish live is an experience I'll never forget.
