Even though I voted, I don't totally understand the thread either. Cindy's role will be the same as it has always been. She'll testify (she's on the prosecutor's list, right?), and she'll continue to stand by her daughter's innocence, regardless of the strength of any evidence. Though I don't respect her, I do feel very sorry for her.

His job is to arrange parking for huge sporting events. The Super Bowl will begin shortly in Tampa. I guess people assume, because his attorney said he was out of town, that he was in Tampa.

Cindy should be brought up on charges, tampering w/evidence, when she knowingly washed Casey's slacks in the trunk, when they stunk like decomposition. She willfully destroyed evidence, she should be tried along w/her daughter. George also is guilty of using the power vacuum when cleaning the trunk. What's up w/LE in Orlando?

I think if KC allows it, her mother will be there to support her through thick and thin. I don't think the Pros. will make the As testify if they can get around it. I think LE has shown much compassion toward the As and know what it cost them to be so helpful at the start of the case.

I agree with you. I feel sorry for her, even though I haven't agreed with alot of what she has done in the media... I have always felt sorry for her and I still do.

Is Cindy at her home, alone? Is Lee with her? I assume George is still hospitalized. Is she going to return to her job? Cindy was so consumed with her crusade to prove Caylee is alive that I would wonder what she is doing with herself now? Will she work hard for Casey's defense? Will she work hard for George's recovery? Will she throw herself into creating a memorial for Caylee? I so feel for this woman...and I don't know why. I hope she is OK and has some support around her.

I think Cindy will end up being a Hostile Witness for the Prosecution. She will be trying to control the courtroom at trial and the Judge will have his hands full. Her lies and deceit will finally be called up and she will have to answer for them. It won't be pretty when they are finished with her, imo, as I do not expect the SA to coddle her. She will still be trying to cover for Casey and pretending she is innocent. (I expect charges to be brought against Cindy.)

SeriouslySearching, I think you and I should have lunch together. Your post mimics my feeling about Cindy. She has lied and covered up in this investigation. And, I don't think it was the grief that her granddaughter was missing and later found murdered that caused her behavior. I see Cindy as being a person who is more worried about what others think and feel about her and her parenting skills. I believe she insisted Casey keep a child she didn't want and then did everything in her power to interfer with Casey trying to be a mom. How on earth could both of them live in the same household with an infant and maintain the roles of mother and daughter.
I think Cindy has been putting down her daughter for most of Casey's life. This does not excuse Casey from what she did to her Caylee. But I think Casey never felt like she was the mother of Caylee. Casey claimed her mother would never forgive her. She fears her mother and I believe it was Cindy's negative treatment of Casey that turned her into a liar as a way of defending herself against a mother who probably never did anything to help her daughter develop into a mature person. Lying was probably always easier for Casey instead of suffering her mother's wrath.
I see Cindy as a controlling person who has absolutely no problem solving skills. I could go on forever but I think I've said enough. jmo
