When Did the Anthony Family Know Caylee was Gone?

  • #141
CA and GA “knew” when they got the car out of the tow yard. It shows how determined they were to "re-write" the script from this point. When the car was stowed away in the A's garage, CA told GA to "go on to work, I'll handle this mess". GA obeyed, gladly leaving CA to deal with the mess. CA swallowed a handful of chocolate-coated steel balls to give her the strength to do what she had to do. Then she busied herself with the car and its contents. She must have made a pact with herself that everything was going to be okay if she could just do another of her CA cleanup jobs. She was a nurse, she knew what decomposition smelled like, it was like no other odor. She “convinced” herself that the odor she was trying to eliminate was not from Caylee. CA must have had a strong stomach and nerves of steel to tackle the job to eliminate traces of what was once her granddaughter. She knew, but she refused to admit, to herself, to anyone, that Caylee was no longer alive. She decided that there was an explanation that ICA was going to provide shortly, and CA would “believe” and promote it. CA wasn’t going to let anybody know what she knew, because she was “in charge” now. She was going to make sure that everyone searched for a live Caylee, because she refused to acknowledge the death of Caylee. Now both CA and GA are soul-less as they chose to become partners with the devil.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask- when is the first notation of LE noting the smell in the car? I know CA talks about it in her last 911 call (which LE might not have been aware of at the time as they were then arriving), but did LE note that smell that night or the next day, or when?

Justice for Caylee

Just baffling. I think I'm in denial about the amount of denial displayed by this family.

GA, a retired LE, knows what death smells like. Couple this with knowing more than anybody else in this world besides other family members that ICA is a pathological liar and you know instantly that the sweet baby is deceased. Okay, for the sake of shock, I will give GA and CA the liberty to not believe what they see, smell and know until they have spoken to KC. They knew that KC would lie to them and I'm sure that they anticipated lies which they did receive. At that point, they knew the baby was gone forever.

Is love that darn strong or what? KC is a demon seed, she killed one of God's sweetest and innocent creations and I say TO HELL WITH THAT CHICK. She is evil, wicked and incorrigible and I wouldn't waste a minute of my time to even imagine supporting her.

So, I guess GA and CA are better people than I will ever be.

Sadly, IMVHO, I don't think it is love. I think that is how these people work. They are so very aware of appearances and in their perfect world, one of their own could not have done this.

I think CA knew the moment she found KC and KC would not take her to Caylee. I think that is the reason she pressed so hard to see her that night and make the call to Lee. I think she was hoping she was wrong, but she knew.

I think this is the part that confuses so many people. People have asked, if she knew and if she was covering up already, then why would she call the police?
IMO, She highly suspected and needed confirmation. The only way she could get it was to call the police in and try to find Caylee. Once she heard the 31 days/Zanny story, she knew. WHAT have you done!!? I do however think that she was already prepared to cover up for KC before she got that confirmation (cuz that's just how Cindy rolls...perfect family, perfect image, don't want to lose Casey too, guilt over the fight etc.) and cleaned the car, took the pants, knife...just in case it were true. :bump:

I am giving a bump to this thread because of what LDB said at today's hearing. She asked the cadaver dog witness, "Bones'" trainer/owner about the day she got the "trained hit." The day Bones got a trained hit in the Anthony back yard.

The witness testified that when she went back the next day the playhouse had been moved, pavers had been moved...

And that Bones, no longer got a "trained hit" in the Anthony back yard.

IMHO what G&CA are doing is not about being better people. They have orchestrated a cover-up. They could have loved KC without forsaking Caylee. That IMO would have been the "better" way to handle this.

I think they are going to be very lonely people when this is over. Three years of blaming LE for KC's crime. Trying to throw so many innocents under the bus. Using tactics to throw off an investigation. How can anyone possibly stand by them, knowing they are supporting ICA at the detriment of Caylee?

I have a quick question- Again, not sure if this is the appropriate thread.

How is it that we know CA cleaned the car, put the knife away and washed pants. Been looking high and low for how this all came out but so much time has passed, I can't find anything on this. Did she just openly volunteer this information to LE? "oh, by the way, I cleaned the car and washed dirty pants".. Did LE ask for those items? Were cleaning fluids found in the car?

Just wondering.

Respectfully snipped . . .

I will always feel so bad for what George and Cindy went through that day. There's even been a few times after that I felt for them and how horrible all this must be, but that has been a long time ago.

I, too, feel so sorry for George. Even watching him early March made me cry. How he STILL loves this child of his after all this time & all the lies . . . IMO, I think George & Cindy knew after picking up the car. How could they not?! Both had experience with the odor. The tow truck company owner knew . . .

I also cannot understand how they don't look at each other (the As). If I was ICA, I know my AWESOME mom would get in my face every chance offered . . . even in court! Just plain weird, IMO.

George bows to Cindy. She is the one he must answer to. I will be amazed if he makes it to the trial w/o serious illness/injury.

I think Cindy is no. 1 in Georges eyes. Caylee may have been #2.

I am here to make an apology to the forum, and to WS. I apologize for voicing my strong opinions, and I hope that I did not insult either side. I've read here for the last couple years, and wanted to be apart of a community that is not biased, but can see the full picture in the case.
Thank You for letting be here, and again I apologize.

Sincerely,
Dustyrose46

you ROCK!!! Thanks for the 911 calls all together - that is what did it for me in determining when Cindy knew Caylee was dead.

+ 1st call was about arresting KC for grand theft & stealing $
+ the convo btwn Cindy & KC while waiting on the transfer (just one more day; I've given you a month)
+ 2nd call was again about $ & car & possible missing child
+ 3rd call was FRANTIC about Caylee.
+ Cindy telling George we've "lost" Caylee

Hi Whisperer! Yup, I agree that George's mental status is pretty tenuous. I think he and Lee have a soul, and this whole "let's pretend that Casey could not have done this" scenario is not something they can, in reality reconcile in their heart of hearts. Why? They know she killed Caylee, and try to put the show on for Cindy ( because you are right Cindy is the ringmaster of this circus!)

I think George knew for certain that Caylee was dead at the Amscot lot when he walked near the car. I think Cindy had her suspicions all along, but by the 3rd 911 call, she had, in a flash, put it all together.

JMO, the minute GA/CA smelled the car and contents

I have never been able to shake the feeling that this was "theater" from
the first 911 call. I think it is very possible they knew something horrible had happened way before that initial call. Even before they found the car,
that all of the stories were manufactured for the benefit of media and LE designed to confuse and misdirect attention far away from Orlando.
They could have milked the "we are looking for Caylee " for years with false sightings across the nation . Being authentic doesnt appear to be a high priority for
these people.
George is not a victim here but a volunteer - he loves to play the sympathy/ victim card . Dont be fooled, he fully participated in the play they all have presented to
LE and media.

I think they knew when they smelled the car. In the beginning before police were called and they searched the backyard and moved the playhouse looking for a body. They knew, why else would they do that.
