Children vary in size. I see 4-6 year olds that can be 4 or 5" different in height and 20 lbs difference in weight. The ages of the witnesses were estimates. Believe me, I am not in any way saying that I am even close to finding a solution, but thought there might be other possibilities in ways we could help.

They don't have jurisdiction. This is purely a domestic case, there is no Interpol involvement at all. In any case, Interpol is basically an organization to co-ordinate information and co-operation between national police forces, not much else.

But if there is they will assist FBI & any other fact finding LE involved in the case.

Okay so if Garrido was using Jack's money AND Jack's computer, then Garrido COULD have ties to internet . However, if Jack had a computer, and it was HIS. and if he never went on the internet, what was he doing with it? Also, the article said that this Linda person "found money being spent" on the website. Maybe Jack just liked to visit sites himself??? I do not doubt for one minute that Garrido would use Jack's money, he is a USER as well as a loser! But, at least here in Oregon, I know that if you for one minute are suspected of elderly abuse, your is dragged into court and you have to prove otherwise. I would guess, that Phillip Garrido, even if Jack said he loaned him the money, would have finally been "on the radar" had anyone thought he was financially abusing this guy. If the DA had decided to press charges, he would have had to go to court to prove otherwise. Is this another case of negligence in LE??? And I would really like to know who this "Linda" was and why she doesn't want people to know what she does.

Interpol can definitely take the case in a positive direction!!

I also had another idea. Maybe we should also try to focus on WHO these children might be. If in 2006 the witness to the children in the backyard stated the younger girls were 4, maybe we should start searching missing children reports for infants and chilren taken from 2000 until 2006. We would be searching for a needle in a haystack (or 2 for that matter), but there is a possibility that they could have been kidnapped at some point. I know other possibilities have been brought up also, but what does everyone think about starting a search?

I don't really feel that there is much more that can be done from a civilian standpoint. But it wouldn't be civilians using the database, it would be the agency. (Personally, that is one database I am perfectly happy not to have access to.)
Having gathered everything that I felt could be gathered from "out here", it was worth a shot to hand it over to the people that have the big guns, like subpoenas and warrants and all kinds of cool stuff that we don't have.
If it goes somewhere, great, if not, there really isn't much more that can be done.

I don't want to go off topic but different cultures - do things differently, my parent used to do it too. it was safe. But it was in another Country, and Madelyn's parents are also not from this country. IT IS DEFINITLY A VERY DIFFERENT CULTURE. In many parts of the world.

sorry that thing just makes me angry. i dont think her parents were involved. but it's not like jaycee going out to the bus stop on a normal day and carl watching her from the garage.......there behavior, and not even having a nanny or anyone to look after the kids is despicable

They won't get involved unless the FBI specifically asks them (their constitution doesnt allow it), and even then it would be to supply requested information only. The FBI won't ask them for assistance unless they have reason to believe that crimes were commited in part outside of the US, and if the FBI knew where that crime occurred, they would contact that country's police force directly.

the first sighting they were 4&5 then 6 months before the SOB was arrested we heard he has been seen with 6&7 year olds. SOUNDS like it is possibly the same girls so if they were 6&7 only 6 Months before he got arrested then then they are still close to that age.
