I picked #9. IMO when the GJ finishes with all the witnesses, I think that's when we will see an arrest, for IMO kidnapping, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, custodial interference, conspiracy to commit custodial interference and child abuse.

Are you standing on the ground by the fence, or are you on a rail? If so, which one?

great graphic steadfast!

I'm going to take a guess that you're referring to terri's guilt or innocence.;)

For kaine or terri I am a 1.5 with one foot on the ground and one foot on the bottom rung of the fence.

DeDe and Kyron's mom and stepdad. 1 - both feet on the ground.

I can't wait to see it after she puts all our avatars where they go! Although it's kinda crowded at the 8's.

:) That would be fun. Even more so if we could move our avatars around as we change opinions. Could probably do it with an .asp program. Then you'd need a link and enough bandwidth... sorry, off topic. I just LOVE this idea.

Course I don't know WHAT we would do with Debs out there picking the weeds! (grin)

I'm number 9...but I am always open to changing my mind if something else is presented. When I first got on this thread, I'd say I was about a number 4: On the fence but leaning towards innocence. The timeline and probability of TH being seen at the school taking Kyron away made me suspect a stranger or unrelated person took this darling little boy.
But then came Kaine's RO and disso. TH's reaction to that, by failing to contest it, tell me almost more than a confession would. I would now need something drastic, like hard evidence of another perp to push me away from the 9 position. Unless that is presented, I can't even be an 8!!! But if it was, I could be a 1!
My 9 position is not based on possible personality traits on the part of TH, her past history, or how I feel about her as a person, which more often than not comes close to neutral despite my belief in her involvement. If I learn that little Kyron has been killed, that will change in a second. And I do think that is likely what his fate was, but I still cling to hope.

I'm a 9. Been a 9 since the beginning and haven't wavered. I question things because I want to know why & how she did it but I have no doubt she did it.

ETA: brilliant idea Steadfast!

10. True blue, never wavering, both feet firmly on the ground, solid Olympic-style 10.

Actually...I've got something for that! Although it's possible I stole it from someone on this site...*lol*

9....without a doubt!

Call it a sixth sense but, that's where I've been since day one and I have no doubt that's where I'll be when they bring Kyron home and the truth is revealed.

10 here for me ! I have no doubt she is 100% involved JMO

I love the fence picture! I voted for "I believe Terri is guilty. However, I acknowledge that there's a tiny chance I'm wrong."

I think there is only a very remote chance that Terri wasn't involved in Kyron's disappearance.

I don't know how to reply to this without getting myself in trouble. I'll just say that I am fully 110% convinced that Terri is the sole reason Kyron has disappeared.

I'm a 3. I think TH is a self-absorbed person with questionable morals, but I haven't seen any real evidence that she would kill Kyron intentionally. If something happened, I believe it was accidental. I'm leaning more toward a non-family abduction or a simple wandering away and getting lost.

I doubt the MFH plot was "for real" -- maybe just an offhand comment or just testing the waters...

Why don't you start a thread about it. I'd like to know more.

That would likely involve me inadvertently violating TOS. My brain is pretty much overloaded with the move, and I got through about 3% of the rules here and my last brain cell exploded. :)

I'm a stickler for rules. If someone draws a line, you'll find me 5 states behind it waving. I don't want to accidentally stumble (in my usual, lame-brain, bull in a china shop way) over it.

Like many people who grew up in a war zone of the urban or familial variety, I tend to have a gift. But I also tend to doubt myself, so then I wonder if I'm really seeing what I think I'm seeing. Usually I'm right, and kick my rear around the block a few times for not having yet learned to trust my instincts. :)

I think I can safely say this, there's a ton of information these days on the intertubes about microexpressions. Beyond that... I don't think I can discuss here?

We have had body language threads on other forums. I think Kimster even started some in the Haleigh Cummings forum so I don't think our mods are against the thought as such if the discussion is responsible.

Doesn't look like we are allowed to change our vote but wanted to know if anyone would change theirs after hearing all the interviews yesterday?? I am pretty comfortable hanging out on my number 8 rung!

might make change mine from 9 to a 10.

Seems like a lot of us kittehs are on 8 (and up!) I guess it's because cats love heights!

You can absolutely start a thread on body language. Something like Body Language and Micro Expressions of Kyron's Family. Then you could start out the post by saying you study micro expressions and based on that, do not think TH is involved, for example (or whatever you feel based on what you have studied) and then give examples of why. Then you can ask others what their lay opinions on the body language of the people involved says. If an expert ever does a story on it, like that Lillian lady who posts on casey anthony and her family? then that can be added to the thread. I think it would be fascinating.

Sure, but then there has to be some discussion of sources, and that's where there is a sticky wicket. :)

Without a dictionary to discover the world of microexpressions (much less subjective and much harder to mask than body language) we're kind of all talking out our.... ahem, posteriors?

Like a lot of people who tend to have a gift, this field of study explained to me why I notice what I notice. There are those out there who discount the difficult childhood theory, except it's a noted and a supported phenomena in other areas of psychological study.

It's survival of the fittest. If you grow up in a war zone and don't learn to recognize early signs of danger, you won't be around long enough to discuss microexpressions later in life. :)

But it's a new field. In it's infancy. It's science, probably in it's purest form, thanks to the technology available, but just because we all agree we see something, doesn't mean we really know what we're seeing. It's the trap we most often fall into where the sciences are concerned.

Which is why I really wish I had other folks to talk to about the microexpressions going on in this case, because sometimes my meter goes hog crazy and I just want to pull my hair out. I'm seeing something, but not sure.

Besides, since the ones we are allowed to sleuth ain't talkin', some of the most interesting sleuthing is what is and isn't said about the case in general by the other involved parties. It's all a little too big for me to get my mind around. If I weren't trying to haul us cross country and anxious to get back east to see how my Equines survived the trip, I'd think about white boarding the thing.

Maybe that would tip me from obsessed about this case to truly :Banane18:

(my not so clever attempt at depicting bat-crazy)
