Where is Casey? (All things related to FCA's location) #2

You are right! And if that's the case, that she is being admitted to the clinic in order to get out of the probation, it is also to continue to hold off ZG's case. I hope ZG bankrupts FCA and DT and anyone and everyone that can sue any member of the DT and anyone associated with FCA does so and wins.

(I might be mad but I am not angry...)

I second that. Hope it happens.

Interesting.....wonder if THIS is where that $70,000 that Macaluso "donated" to the defense team came from....??? So was NOT a "gift" but a "loan"?
[snip]

Respectfully snipped.

So Macaluso invested in 'FCA Futures'? I wonder what % of the pot he got and how much CM got for his legal team and services? With everyone who was involved in the Defense you have to wonder if JB sold his stake in the hope he could cash in on his own.

Interesting that Macaluso is active with his investment and JB not so much ... Do you cut your losses and move on or try to translate FCA Futures into a business?

A white elephant?

And punishing hard working owners of the bookstore helps Caylee how?

It helps her by honoring her and thwarting people, including hard working bookstore owners, who would seek to make money from her death.

You guys amaze me how do you find these things? Who knew they had a place to find liens on planes?

OMG! Wow! This guy is shadier than shady. Can't make his house payments, can't pay for the plane...why am I not surprised that this is the type of person that hitches their wagon to KC's 'star'? Too muckin fuch...I did notice however, that the lien was placed in July of 2010 though, and the lowdown deadbeat 🤬🤬🤬 is still flying, so apparently he took care of that, at least one would think. Man I love WS! These people THINK they are slick, but they are not slicker than WS!!!!! :woohoo:

In August 2007, a Florida bankruptcy court awarded the rights to the book to the Goldman family partially to satisfy the civil judgment. The title of the book was changed to If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer, and published by Beaufort Books. Comments were added to the original manuscript by the Goldman family, the book's ghostwriter Pablo Fenjves, and journalist Dominick Dunne. The new cover design printed the word "If" greatly reduced in size compared with the other words, and placed it inside the "I"; a person glancing the cover only briefly may have the impression that it is entitled I Did It. In this new form, the book was published in September 2007.

Fred Goldman had it published, against the wishes of Nicole Simpson's family.
That's all I will sayabout that matter.

I don't believe anyone ended up reading OJ's book as he wrote it- they were withdrawn unsold by the publisher IIRC.

Can't wait for those sealed records to be open about where the defense spent the money. Truly.

Seems like Macaluso and Baez have both had some problems with real estate. One of the reasons Baez was not admitted to the bar right away was because of his bad debt. During jury selection I thought I read here somewhere that he sold a rental property on a short sale to get out of a financial mess with it. Am I remembering correctly?

If TM and KC are jet-hopping all over the place together, I hope Mrs TM is keeping a close eye on the daring duo. You know how KC luvs lawyers! And TM seems like a bit of a... um... risk taker...

Well like a previous poster stated I don't think I'd be flight hopping all over the place in this private plane.

So we have The Felon flying to Columbus and returning to Orlando to get her three necklaces, watch, OS baseball cap, etc, then when they said she was going into therapy they fly back to Ohio for her photo shoot, and then rush off to the San Diego mansion. Then fly back to Houston and voila! she appears in HHJP's courtroom, on Friday.

I think she went to Ohio, back to Orlando the day of the towel headgear, back to Ohio and back to Orlando on Monday of last week...where she has stayed. If she ends up in Houston in Psych ward then TM probably picked her up from Orlando, first.

The OP said they would walk into a bookstore, sit down, read the book, put it back and leave when finished. IMO that is stealing from the bookstore.

Kindly explain what you mean by this please? :waitasec:

I don't buy (no pun intended) that excuse. If you DON"T read the book maybe, but going in to the store and reading the entire book, placing it back on the shelf, you are stealing from the bookstore owner.

Plus his own house is in foreclosure isn't it?
Is there anyone in this whole defense network that has scruples? Pays their debts? :banghead:

Why are we talking about another poster? Passing our personal judgement on our fellow posters is not how we roll. Thank YOU.

Let's move this discussion to the Jury Room please. We're here to discuss this case. But if you guys want to start a discussion about reading books in bookstores, we can do that in the private forum. I have something I'd like to add to that topic if you guys decide to open a thread in there. :kimsterwink:

ETA: And Grandmaj has a point too. Either way, let's move on.
