While we are searching.. OT thread.

We're glad you're back! No need to apologize. The picketing incident figured very importantly in the Italian program which is coming up, so if you are able to find anything, we will send it along to Italy.

Thanks! I will be making some phone calls tomorrow (or Friday at the very latest). Can you tell me which thread has info about the Italian program/picketing relation so I can catch up? I don't know anything about the Italian program... is it in the GB thread?

I'm glad to be back!! :)

Odyssey, most of the information is in the Media Exposure thread, starting at about post #478. The program is on Rai Tre, the third state network of Italy, and is called Che l'ho visto. The program has been running for more than 20 years and has a large viewing audience, so we are very fortunate that they have expressed an interest in Anna's case and are planning to do a story on it in the fall, if all goes well.

Kimster, sorry for the delay in welcoming you to the thread. Please feel free to ask any questions or to contribute. We need all the help that we can get!

Hi Everyone,

Asking for prayers for my friend's Sister in law, she had a terrible car accident and we now know she will never walk again. This accident also had a fatality and I would also like to ask for prayers for the deceased and family.

Thank you in advance.

Chris

Hello everybody! I've only just discovered this case about an hour ago, when I saw the thread "Searching For Anna Part 1". AnnasMom & Family, my goodness you are all so very strong! I'm sincerely wishing there will be a happy ending someday.

Cubby, in your post at the following link given right here, you advise that spiral perms & big hair (forget your exact words) weren;t popular til the 90's. Please read this link real quick then go to my next paragraph:
Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - Anna Christian Waters (Missing 1/16/1973 from Half Moon Bay, CA)

It really made me think...so I dug out my hs yearbook. I graduated from a South Jersey HS in 1984. I had a spiral perm & huge hair! I had also cut my hair for my hs senior pic. Before I left to go to college in Florida, I modelled. Then I moved to Florida but in my off time I split weeks between NY & Fla. Once I got into my labs, I became immersed in the subculture of biologists & people in the medical field, so I considered my modelling gigs to be mundane...gave it up. Having said all of this, I was exposed to a plethora of hairstyles, clothes, makeup artists & their different application methods, etc. The west coast was much different from the east coast. Girls in Cali were wearing bleached hair straight & the east coast was long layers but the club scene was all about Mall Hair. South Jersey, Cherry Hill, Philly, Wilmington, Newark - mall head cities bigtime. It's made me wonder this: Have pictures ever been done on Anna showing variations in hair styles, clothes & makeup from Cali to NY. For instance, a 1984 pic of Anna in Cali may show her hair to be smooth, medium length, maybe some longer layers. However if she actually lived in NY her hair style may be different in going with what was more popular there. Even more different if she lived in Philly or South Jersey like I do/did. 1984 - my hair was spiral permed, long to the middle of my back, teased & hairsprayed...(at least til I got it cut & started making money).

I'm new to these threads on Anna, so there's alot I need to read up on, but I did note that post of Cubby's & thought mentioning what I did may shed some new insight. Please give me a few days to catch up.

Also, not sure if anybody's followed the astro threads here, but has a chart ever been done on Anna? If not, can't hurt to give it a shot. I never even followed my horoscope, ever, then Caylee Anthony went missing & the astros here started posting forensic astrology charts. Amazing is the only word for it. Doesn't matter if you're a believer or not, just about every single chart they've done on a missing person here has shown tons of significance. So, if it hasn't been done yet, please consider it...like I said, it can't hurt.

Hi, Jersey Girl (cute avatar)--thanks for your input. The official age-advanced picture of Anna was done by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which consults family pictures, uses computer software, and goes on quite a lot of intuition about the pictures, which are only updated about every five years. I have experimented a little with printing out the pictures in black and white and making pencil changes such as glasses. Regarding the astrology charts, yes, they did do one, but then a contributing astrologer did another one with completely different results...so it is difficult to know which reading might have significance. Keep writing us. We need fresh eyes.

Jersey Gal, I graduated in 84 too! Most of my HS year book pictures from the burbs of Chicago we still had the feathered Farrah Hair, or the style where the girls wore short side feathers (about the ears) and longer in the back, so I guess it would be different where we grew up.

I added a thread for people to post their photo shop abilities with trying various styles of hair etc. for Anna. Not many responded. If you have that ability we would love to see some different styles!

That's so sweet SK. xoxo

Maybe we could organize our own little online prayer/affirmation time this weekend to say prayers or affirmations to bring Anna home or point us in the right direction to find her. Choose a US/CA time and those of us that can't be online at that US/CA time could do it at the same time in our own country.

I think we need some help from a higher power right now as we seem to be at a bit of a stale mate.

What a wonderful idea, OzzieMum. How about 9 A.M. California time on Saturday? Maybe someone can figure out what that will be in GMT so that we can coordinate. This would really give me a huge boost. Thank you. And, yes, SK is really sweet.

Aww, thanks. :blowkiss:

Cali is 3 hour difference for those central or eastern, however I'll get up at 6 am just for Anna! :-)

I just opened a You Tube account and posted a bit about Anna loving this song on the list of comments. IF she is a You Tube lover, she may see it!

* I am thinking a 'between' time may work for more people. I will suggest 9AM California - 2pm Eastern Standard covering most States, I'm not sure how this affects Austraila or the UK. The UK is a5 hour time difference from Toronto But let's just say, SATURDAY will be Anna's Day *

9am Saturday will be 2am Sunday here. We are 17 hours ahead of Cali. I will set my alarm.

I will post my favorite prayer, The Lord's Prayer, in this thread during this time and would like to ask everyone else to do the same.

God bless Anna and bring her home soon.
