Toronto Police Service :: News Release #42678
Case #: 2018-2168395
The Toronto Police Service requests the public’s assistance identifying a deceased woman.

On Sunday, November 25, 2018, at 6:58 a.m., officers responded to a call for an Unknown Trouble in the Victoria Park Avenue and Queen Street East area, at the foot of the R.C. Harris Water Treatment Plant.

It is reported that:

- a woman was located on the shoreline of Lake Ontario

- she was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital where she was pronounced

Efforts to identify this woman have been unsuccessful.

She was believed to be approximately 30-40 years old, 5'2", and 145 lbs. At the time, she was wearing a white “Lilysilk” tank top (size L), a white “Denver Hayes” t-shirt (size S), grey “Lululemon” pants (size 6), and grey Saucony running shoes (size 6).

Photographs of the woman and the clothing she was wearing at the time are being released.

Please note, this photograph may be disturbing to some people.

That's a mystery! Her clothing doesn't look warm enough for Nov 24-25th. It was only about 3.5C (37.5F) and raining. Perhaps she wasn't in the water by her own choice.

The clothes appear to be fitness wear and they don’t fit with the weather. I wonder how long she’s been deceased and if she was running along the shoreline and was attacked.

Probably a long shot because of the timeframe (I can't get a clear look at her face from the thumbnail really), but this UID looks older than 40 to me and could she have come from the NY side? I'm checking a few other sources Missing Person Case

Click on the News Release number, then scroll down for picture.

I don't think she was in the water for very long.

Well then, she has been identified and that's possibly all we will hear about it unless criminal charges follow. God rest her soul.
