On Blaming Bobby Brown

Ask Demetria: It's easy to point fingers at Whitney's ex, but ultimately, she chose her own path.

OHH Come on we all know Bobby held her down and forced her to take all the drugs ( KIDDING)
I 100% agree she chose her path . he might had shown her the path but she made the choice it is called free will which we all have. She chose the wrong one.

Whitney Houston-Coroner Gets Calls, Emails Demanding Murder Investigation

The L.A. County Coroner's Office has received phone calls and emails from people claiming to be relatives of Whitney Houston.

Sources tell TMZ ... the calls and emails were made by several different people, some claiming to be relatives of Whitney and some relatives of Bobby Brown. The calls and emails have a common theme -- the belief Whitney may have been murdered. At least one person claimed to have information supporting the murder theory.

At least one caller offered a theory about a relative who might have done Whitney in, but offered no supporting proof.

Whitney Houston leaves everything to her daughter
2 hours ago
ATLANTA — Whitney Houston left everything to her 19-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

The pop superstar's will doesn't mention specific assets, but leaves all of her furnishings, clothing, personal effects, jewelry and cars to her surviving children. Bobbi Kristina was her only child...

A few more details at the DM article:

Whitney Houston leaves everything in her will to daughter Bobbi Kristina… and nothing to ex-husband Bobby Brown

Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...ina-ex-husband-Bobby-Brown.html#ixzz1oUBsVdF4

imo, this is standard and I am relieved to know, if true, that a Trust has been setup for Bobbi Kristina. The Trustees are Whitney's brother Gary and his wife Patricia who served as Houston's manager.

I hope this Bobbi Kristina will get her life on track esp. since she will benefit from her mom's will. I have read some serious stuff about her. I would like to see it just be some bad phase she comes out of and she gets her life on the straight and narrow.
No doubt heavy depression is present and let us pray she will survive the loss without to much damage.

I forget whaich show it was but they were proclaiming " Dionne Warwick breaks her silence to reveal her last words with Whitney, etc, etc".

Oh believe me, Doinne has never been silent, it is just that people got tired of hearing her big mouth drone on and one endlessly after her psychic phone friends scam which netted her millions and preyed up vulnerable, naive people.

I have no respect for her at all for after that, I feel she is always just out there for the attention.

I am hearing today that Bobbie Brown is the benefactor in a will made over 20years ago and never changed.??

As for 11's, there has been some thought, and apparently some research (although how, I'm not sure) about 11, especially 11:11. It tends to represent a mystical occurrance, or perhaps someone from the other side trying to connect with you (e.g. a guardian angel trying to get your attention), or, in some circles, it's the power of 1 (God) repeated 4 times. And it could also mean something negative is happening, or will happen. It is often used in reference to "I saw 11:11 today...something is going to happen!" as in an omen/forwarning of some sort.

One interesting thing to note, however, is that 11:11 was not really discussed/discovered/assigned meaning until we had digital clocks, or clocks without faces and only numbers.

If you think about it, there is no other time of day/night that is a repeating number like this, with 4 identical numbers in a row (and if you're using a 24 hour clock, it only happens once a day instead of twice, but 22:22 happens once, as well). The human mind will find patterns in things which have no pattern, and will assign meanings in things which have no meaning. Thus, we have the whole 11:11 thing, which was not even noted until the clock face had become only numerical and no longer a 'face'.
from reading/research (insert theme music from The Twilight Zone) ... 11 is a gateway number, ie: the two 1s symbolize a doorway (to where? to what? that depends on the circumstances/patterns and your interpretation of same)

11 is also viewed as a symbol of enlightenment. if you're someone who often glances at a clock and sees 1:11 or 11:11 the odds are that it is happening for you w/ great frequency. I have weeks when it happens almost daily, then not for awhile, then nearly daily again, etc

my greatest life changes happened during a fairly short time (about 18 months out of 50+ years) when I lived at 12121 _ _ _ _ _ St, in Apt 11-211. which has sorta made me a "believer" in the significance of 11. I don't live by it but I do tend to go on "alert mode" when I'm having an 11 week

According to 'news' reports, Bobbi Kristina is the sole beneficiary according to the terms of Whitney E. Houston's Will created in 1993 and amended in 2000.

The Daily Mail article below supposedly has images of a few pages of the docs.

Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi to inherit mother's fortune of £20 million in stages over next 11 years

The only way Bobby Brown could get any of the money is if Bobbi K. passes away BEFORE the matter is settled. If that would happen, Bobby Brown and several of Whitney's relatives would get a share.

Whitney Houston's death was feared, relative says
11 hours ago

LOS ANGELES — Whitney Houston's sister-in-law said she feared that drugs would end the singer's life.

In a partial transcript of an interview with Oprah Winfrey scheduled to air Sunday, Patricia Houston said she would be "kidding herself" to say otherwise...

Right, Kimberly!

And wouldn't it have been nice if NG on her show last evening and brought that point home, instead of going on & on about how Bobby Brown was IN the Will ("major BOMB"). lol

On a related matter, I found an image of of the Codicil executed in 2000 which essentially changed the named Executor to Cissy and the Trustees to brother Michael and his wife Donna, not to Gary and his wife Patricia.

Welcome to the WH thread. Glad you found it.

What she was buried in & with what doesn't bother me. I heard that BK, Cissy & Dionne picked out every thing she wore, i.e. clothes, jewelry, etc.

It bothers me that someone in a position of trust, be it someone at the viewing or funeral home employees, had such disrespect to even take that picture & then sell it.
Hi kato.

Brother was in intensive care... and I have not been on WS very much, not only because of family but also disenchantment :).
A lot about Whitney's last years are offensive IMHO. not only the last picture.

But her daughter is here, and announcing about her half million dollar buried jewels can
and will eventually create a problem of greed. Thievs or fans.
Why does her daughter need that? she has enough daemons to fight :(
What kind of adults are looking or thinking straight ahead?
Sorry but it should have never been public that she was buried with so much.
2nd point is -- the kid would have loved to have those mementos.

  • #375
The jewels were not buried with WH. That was an incorrect report that has since been cleared up.

Oprah's interview with Whitney's family is on now on the OWN network.

  • #377
is there a new thread? I'm surprised no one commented on the interviews.

  • #378
I don't buy Oprah's network so couldn't see it. doesn't seem to be much buzz about it on the internet either. Googled it and only one recent story came up.

  • #379
One interesting thing: Pat Houston tells Oprah that Whitney was found in the tub, but says she doesn't know how she got in there. To me that says she was not nude and taking a bath. Otherwise why would you say "I don't know how she got in there"? Isn't that a strange thing to say?

I don't have cable, so I could not watch.

Anything else interesting said during the interview? Thanks ziggy for the tmz link.
