Gilbert’s employer was listed in the arrest log as Lace Party Girls and her alias as “Sabrina.” Both were released on a summons.

Wonder what SWSP means.

I have been making so many mistakes lately I am almost afraid to post. I think it is quite possible that JR and minnions killed Shannan to keep her from talking I put that Vital's date in there because I think someone was trying to set CPH up with that comment. I don't think JR is the LISK. I looked on the NJ prison site and couldn't find EE (who was busted with Shannan in 2008.

Unbelievable that he was only committed/imprisoned for 3.5 months of the five year sentence...and that is ridiculous given the prostitution, money laundering and drug distribution. From everything I have read on JR, he was out on bail within the first two weeks and not incarcerated until 2-3 weeks after sentencing...there is something very wrong here.

JR's businesses generated a LOT of $. He simply could not have been a 1-man show, but I can't seem to find any information re: partners or associates. Maybe I'm still out on a limb with this guy... maybe there's no connection.

I wonder if he had a "financial advisor" and if so was that guy investigated as well. And if so, I wonder if JR's possible broker is still a practicing financial professional.

I believe MP and Shannan were still working for him. I am specluating that Alex Diaz had been working for him and probably got fired after he beat Shannan up. On June 11, 2010 Ruis pleaded guilty.
Remember when MP told Gus Shannan would be in a lot of trouble for calling 911? If they were working independently, why would she be in trouble? And who with? If you go on google you can find enough info on Shannan and Ruis/Lace Party Girls to tie it all together.

Until I found all this stuff about Ruis, I thought SG was a victim of the LISK. Now I don't.

I am repeating information and this is very disorganized. I'm so tired of this case, but I feel satisfied that SG was killed on orders from Ruis and was not killed by the LISK.

Except that if you put a hit out on someone because you think they are going to testify against you, you don't then go and plead guilty. The basic logic is flawed. Also, if for some reason we can't imagine he would do this, why would the hitman then kill her while she was working, after she called 911, and while she is in an unfamiliar location, a gated community of all places. Not exactly the place to whack your former employee. Unless you are saying that someone in that community was the hitman and the purpose of the visit there was to perform the job?

Actually that's what I was thinking. That she freaked at JB's because she found out they were going to kill her. And she made such a disturbance they had to go ahead and get rid of her. Or she could have been removed from Oak Beach and killed later.

i'd dismiss 3,4,6, for now at least to help focus easier--actually all 3 of these seem to be Russian syndicate based options, and that would also mean no bodies or parts, they'd be chopped up and disposed of in water or fire AFTER letting other girls see to get the message-just a thought IMHO

I'm not sure I've seen this until now. Interesting angle! I'm going to look into this a little closer. I still believe CPH killed SG and I still think CPH is LISK, but maybe there's a bigger picture I haven't come across, yet. Thanks for this info! (I had seen the Vitals comment before, but I'm not sure I noticed the date.)

If I were CPH, I'd get as far away from the SCPD as possible, though I'd imagine he must have felt a little hopeful when that nursery guy died. If SCPD feels compelled to pin the murders on someone (anyone), CPH must be near the top of the list of candidates. That CPH hasn't been charged is a pretty good indication that, no matter how badly SCPD needs a fall guy, there just isn't enough "evidence" they can cook up to convict CPH in court.

By the way, when we get down to what we ACTUALLY know about the case, SG shares everything in common with the GB4. Do we know that the GB4 are dead prostitutes found on the beach? Yes, we do know that. Do we know that SG is a dead prostitute found on the beach? Yes, we know that as well. Do we know how the GB4 died? No, we do not know that (unless you believe SCPD). Do we know how SG died? No, we do not know that either. Except for what law enforcement says about the GB4 bodies, which is only a "fact" if you believe what law enforcement says, there is nothing at all to separate the GB4 and SG.

Another way to look at it is the only thing they have in common is that all five were sex workers, all five are dead, and all five were found on Jones Island. A big difference is that the GB4 were very obviously placed there by someone after they were dead by someone looking for a place to get rid of a dead body, while SG was found relatively far from them and close to where she was last seen. SG was found in an area not consistent with someone looking for a place to get rid of a dead body. To get from the parkway to where her body was found would be a very tough short trip. It's more likely she got there under her own power from the Oak Beach side of the marsh.
