Who Is Caylee's Biological Father?

I don't think LE ever said they know who the father is.. Lee Anthony said the family knows who the father is, but doesn't want to get the family involved.

There is no "over the counter" DNA test (it would be nice though!)

I believe LE has samples of Caylee's hair that they found in the car

There is the next best thing, though. You can do do-it-yourself mail-order DNA tests for about $300. (I know this, because I have a male friend who suspected that a child wasn't his, and BINGO, he was right...found out through a mail-order DNA test--and used the results in court for his divorce).

Thats interesting! I didn't know there was anything like that! Like I stated earlier though, I don't think the Anthony's want the father or his family to know Caylee is his. IF she is indeed dead (I hope shes not) they could sue Casey (or maybe her family, not sure) for wrongful death.

I think that they all know who the father most likely is, and that they have kept it hidden so that he would have no say in who was raising Caylee. If they ever decided to take Caylee away from Casey they would need his permission if he was involved.

I agree with this.

And I don't think they want the paternal grandparents involved either. They don't want to share their grandparental power. I really wish that paternal grandparents WERE involved, though.

Me too! Maybe they'd get out there and actually search for her! I'm still blown away by Cindy's statement "get off your a** and look for my granddaughter!" You know cause Cindy is soooo busy doing interviews and what not..

Yeah, that was the moment that my jaw dropped, and I thought, "The NERVE of this woman."

And at that moment I almost felt a little pity for Casey--having been raised by this ice queen for 22 years couldn't have been easy...and could have warped the way she raised her own daughter. :(

Oh theres no doubt she did damage to Casey. I can only hope they both get in trouble for holding back information. The sad thing is there is a family out there somewhere that probably never knew they had a Granddaughter

I hope that any member of this family who obstructed justice, who knew that Caylee was dead but put forth this kidnapping scenario, does time for what they've done to the public.

And, yeah, can you imagine living in the Orlando area, knowing that your son was one of the many who dated Casey, and wondering if you might be a grandparent to this child? That has to be on the mind of a lot of Floridians right now.

One would think as Grandparents they'd do anything in their power to find her. (I'm not even related and I want to find her more than anything!) Going on TV every night and asking for donations (seriously?! WTH) does nothing to help in the search!

Can you imagine all the men Casey has slept with biting their finger nails right now?! I hope LE does find the father, maybe it would speed up the process of finding Caylee

I'm still hooked on Mom of Five's comments regarding Ricardo Morales living across the street from the Sawgrass Apartments. Maybe it wasn't him but this info just posted on www.myfoxorlando.com shows there is a possiblilty of a Zenaida Gonzalez stopping by the apartments on 6/17/08. I'd like to know if she looked specifically at the apartment Casey took them to. I sortof hate to say it but maybe there is some truth in Casey's statements and this was a scam by the father.

"There are new developments with the mysterious babysitter Casey told detectives she left her daughter with. Casey told police that a woman named Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez has been Caylee's nanny for the past two years, and that she had an apartment at the Sawgrass Apartments.

However when police went to check the apartment, they were told by apartment management that the unit had been vacant for months and that a woman with that name had never leased an apartment at Sawgrass.

Apartment manager Amanda Macklin confirms only that a Zenaida Gonzalez visited the apartment complex on June 17, not April 17 like originally thought.

Macklin said a leasing agent filled out a guest card with a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez with the date of her visit. She also said that the woman would have been required to show the leasing agent her identification as a matter of policy and safety.

However, when the leasing agent made an attempt to follow up with Gonzalez as a potential resident, the phone number she gave was invalid.

Detectives from the Orange County Sheriff's Office returned to the apartment complex Wednesday and asked for the original copy of the guest card. Macklin said she did not think the card would contain any fingerprints since the leasing agent fills out the card, not the potential resident.

Employees from the leasing office were shown pictures of different Zenaida Gonzalez's and of Casey and her missing daughter, Caylee.

No Sawgrass Apartment employees recognized either Casey or Caylee but one of the photos of Gonzalez did look familiar as a possible match.

Still, police say they have not been able to confirm that the "so called" babysitter exists. "

The attorney for the family of the possible biological father of Caylee will be on Studio B on Fox this afternoon. Someone posted that on a different thread when they heard it on TV.

Casey would be subject to deposition questioning in a civil trial of this nature. She would be forced to talk or sit in jail until she would. The cryptic game would be over. Let the lying begin. Even if it is lies, at least she would be saying something instead of lawyering up and remaining silent.

I don't think it is Jesus' baby. I think Caylee's father is that Jeremy guy, the brother of Casey's friend Amber. Just a gut feeling.

Has anyone done a birth certificate search for Caylee? Was the father named? Is this something anyone on here can access? Not sure if it is something in the public domain.

I would bet you that father is not listed. Cindy stated at one time when she said the father was dead, that he was never involved in Caylee's life, that was the agreement between Casey and he, even where the birth certifcate was concerned. But Cindy has proven to be just as much a liar as her daughter, no surprise there.

In Florida in order to have the father listed on the Birth Certificate he must be present and sign the document. At least this is the way it happened each time I had a baby. I'm pretty sure in another thread it was stated NO father was listed.

JMO- I really don't think Jesus is the father either. That baby doesn't look one ounce Hispanic. I'm sure by telling everyone Jesus was Caylee's dad she would have gained A LOT of sympathy and MORE attention. I don't think Casey has any idea who that child's father is.. only wishful thinking.

Help me with this. To determine paternity would't you have to have the child's DNA as well as the possible father's?

If yes, when and how did Jess's father gtet Caylee's DNA?

I think that Jesse had the DNA testing done when Caylee was still a baby. Maybe she wanted to add him to the birth certificate and he wanted to be sure. Maybe someone else told him at that time that Caylee may not be his and made him question Casey.

either way they would have to have Casey's consent, unless he was fighting a Child support order. Is this why they called of their engagement??

Can't wait to see what the Ortiz's Family lawyer has to say!
