Who is Lee Anthony's roomate?

Let's not read too much into the music, I am (kinda) normal minded and I listen to things much worse than what has been posted here.

Thank you! I use to like some Gun's and Rose's music and I am a retired school teacher! Geeze, next thing we know, if this keeps up, people will have started a major rumor that LA helped KC do the deed and should be arrested.

This is exactly how terrible/hurtful rumors get started and suddenly someone starts saying it as a fact. Sad, sad!

Lee might have had to do the ninja move because, if he didn't get the stuff out before the next day, the landlord could have used it to withhold some security deposit because he wasn't technically moved out. Just a thought!

I think it was just dishes. Crazy, right?
Hi R-L! I just have to ask.... am I following this thread correctly? LA supposedly broke into an old apartment at midnight to retrieve some dishes that he left? Maybe a crock pot too?

I'm sorry but there is no way I believe this. Ok, let me restate that. Unless the idea originated at a party where there were cocktails being served, and "they" decided to do this on a whim or a dare, maybe then I would believe it.

Has anyone found a link to any of this?

IIRC LA had to crawl into the apartment from an unlocked window because he and his roomate(s) were skipping out of the lease. This is common practice with young people, it happens all the time. They buy a house and move out without fulfilling the remaining terms of the lease. Roomates split up and the other one can't afford the rent alone. They get a new job. I guess they packed, left the keys in the slot of the office door and then realized some of their stuff hadn't made it to the new place. So, they went back. No harm no foul. It was years ago. I do not think much of it.

Unless one has the Son of Sam disease and gets messages to kill from dogs, I don't think that song lyrics drive people to act upon the words. But then I am way past understanding the 20-somethings of today - as it should be. They all think I am cool, and I think they are all just so, well - YOUNG and fascinatingly foolish. I would love to be able to get into their brains and give them a heads up on life. LOL

That strikes me as odd too. I have never left anything at an old apartment so important that I felt compelled to sneak back at midnight, commit an unlawful entry and risk arrest as well as injury to retrieve that item.

I can totally see a young person doing this. It wasn't an 'old' apartment, he'd just moved out. It's such a non-issue.

probably left something illegal in a container in the kitchen and forgot it (drugs? hidden money?)
and couldn't ask landlord to let him in because landlord would see the secret stuff........IMO

Where do you get that he was skipping out on his lease? He moved the balance of his stuff out during the day and apparently turned in his key. Doesn't sound like skipping out to me.

Chilly, it is an issue if he broke into the apartment at midnight instead of going through the proper channels. That's called illegal entry. Even if he was the previous tenant, he was no longer in possession of the lease. He had no right to go in without management's approval. It then begs the question: Why did he need to get in there under cover of night without permission.

Because he was a young dumb kid with more brawn than brains and he wanted to retrieve his crock pot. Sheesh, he forgot an entire cabinet full of stuff, he had to pack it up and carry it out to a vehicle, you think he slinked around and played cat burglar while he was doing it? He was probably on good terms with the landlord and knew it wouldn't be a problem. Why make something out of nothing?

Hi. Yes, I know it's strange, but he did actually post a message to someone on MySpace about what he did. I will try and search and find it. It was something stupid like he had already cleared everything out, but he was missing some things. He broke back in through the window, and sure enough, there was a whole cupboard that was missed, which included dishes and a crockpot. It was a couple of years ago iirc.

Thank you for the explanation. It makes much more sense to me except..... the B & E. Why not just call the landlord? This had to be done in the middle of the night?

Weird..... Anthony Weird.

A whole cabinet.
Dishes and crockpot.

So, he snuck in thru a window with boxes, and stuff to wrap all the stuff in?

Instead of asking the landlord who he was "on good terms with" to let him in to get his stuff.
:waitasec:

just more weirdness.
imo

Most likely he opened the door after he crawled through the window. If it was the middle of the night, the landlord was probably sleeping, maybe Lee was being considerate by not waking him. All that isn't the point. I don't see how returning to an apartment to retrieve a crockpot turns into dealing drugs and hiding scads of drug money.

LOL I am with you CW. This sounds like something my boys would do. Wait until the last possible moment to clear out the apt and then forget something.
I guarantee you, my 20 somethings would climb in the window and get it and be done with it.

Check out http://orangeclerk.onetgov.net/ for LeeA records under civil. Looks like he was the defendant against an apt. complex.

Usually means they filed for eviction on someone when you see this. Could be why he was climbing in the window to retrieve something---the complex mgr. obviously doesn't allow the evicted tenant back in after the sheriff has padlocked the front door. (Unless it has been worked out w/ the mgr. and then the person can return only under supervision from one of the apt. personnel, at a time set by the apt. manager. This was always the way it was done when I was an apartment mgr. in Florida.)
