I am so glad you guys are working on this case. This one has bothered me a lot since I first saw her photo. Angie did a great reconstruction on her! I think she must have been a beautiful girl. I thought she looked quite young. The age could be younger than 16-18, but why wouldn't someone be looking if it were the case?

I think her lips are a bit thinner tho...remember there was a lot of swelling on the ME's shot. I also see them turning up on the corners of the mouth. Do her ears seem to stick out a little at the top, too?

I have always had naturally blonde hair which is darker at the roots due to the sun bleaching it. Even if I don't go out much for a summer...it still looks this way. Her hair looks natural to me due to the color of her skin and her eyebrows.

Could she have been pushed instead of jumping out the vehicle? How did they determine this anyway?

There has yet to be a clear statement either way - I believe this is because they know the people who were in the car and as they cannot prove anything against them, saying she was definitely pushed would land them in a heap of trouble.

I definately see a resemblance! I wonder if they could be that far off with age. It's possible.

Well I considered the age difference as too big for it to be a match but this Jane doe was petite and I am petite and I am always taken for a good 10 or more years younger then I am. However, The missing women has had four children and I think that fact would have been determinable in our Jane Doe and I would hope made public. Yet, the resembalance is there. I don't think it is a likly match but I felt I should post it.

I don't think so. The age is wrong. Misty would be approximately 47 this girl says she is 31.

Crystal Ortega is listed as having brown eyes, and this gal had blue, so that should rule her out.

There is a strong resemblence with Tracy Vicent, but they'd have to be off on age A LOT. Also, I don't think they determined that Jane Doe had ever given birth? LE really felt she was closer to 13 than 16, so they'd have had to be waaaaay off on a whole lot of things for it to be her.

She was still in Mexico at this time. I found other references but could not really translate them and they appeared old.

I would think the children are still with her, but whos to say. Texas is across the border.

Thats what I though, some kind of auto claim. So I wonder if she appeared in court there in 2005, it seems like the date of the accident was 13/96 maybe 1996.

I also checked myspace and did find one Susana Diaz with blond hair blue eyes that is 21 but her birthday was 2 weeks before this missing girls bday. So it is probably not her or why would she even bother to use her name and change the dob. This girl is in LA.

did anyone catch the news last night with katie Couric about human trafficking???? People Buying girls for sex and or free labor.

They said it was the fastest growing crime in America and only second to drugs. They said one place where it is runnning rampit is in the florida panhandle.

I wonder if something like that could have happened to this girl and that would explain the fancy eyebrows etc, they wanted to keep her looking good so she would bring in more money...

You are right, she looks a lot like this UID. BUT Tracie would have been 31 in 1999. According to the Medical Examiner this UID was not less than 13 and not more than 18 years old. I think there could be a margin of error of a few years, but it would be interesting (to say the least) if the medical examiner was off by 13 years! Usually the ME will also state if the UID girl has carried a baby to term, Tracie had four young children.
