In all probablity, LE was aware of the telephone number error as they would have used and checked reputable listings - as AZL did. She did state she could have gained other info had she checked the LE box. Had the DT not waited until the last minute, the state could have saved Vasco a lot of grief and mainstream media for being so stupid. Instead of checking the facts, the press was so afraid another outlet would beat them to the "bombshell". Score many points to the state but the DT will have convinced some who only listen to certain news that there is something to this story. Good thing the jury is unaware of this and I hope the judge will make sure they don't hear of it until after the trial is over.
