Who is Vasco Thompson?

Looks like that private investigator is almost as intelligent as the defense attorneys.:floorlaugh: It boggles my mind that a team of attorneys, who have obviously been educated and passed the bar, would not check and recheck such information before running with it...especially in such exceptional circumstances. I wouldn't let this bunch represent me for a parking ticket let alone a death penalty case.

If he won't cooperate with defense won't they be making a complete a$$ of themselves by putting him on the stand not knowing what he will say?

You know what's funny? In all the time I was trying to figure out these "Vasco Dagama Thompson" calls, I never could pin down why the name "Vasco Da Gama" sounded so familiar. :floorlaugh:

Epic fail on the part of my history teachers.

You're right, guess you would call it a typo? Data processing error?

I'm still trying to understand the nature of the error.

George called 407-4*5-3082 on July 9, 2008.

But if you look up Vasco Thompson, much more often you find the number 407-2*6-3082 (and once it showed up as 407-2*6-3802).

AZL, are you saying that the 2*6 number for VT is incorrect for him, or is his true number?

Casey Anthony Trial: Her Father Fights Back

"Mr. Anthony has and will continue to maintain the position that he had nothing to do with the death of Caylee Marie Anthony or any of the events that occurred afterword regarding the actions of the Defendant Casey Anthony established by the State of Florida in the presentation of their case," the statement read.

No mention of daughter is there.

I think Cindy probably will never say ILY to her again after this BS

The 2*6 number is VT's correct number, the 4*5 number is the number GA called. When someone entered the number into a database they made a typo is my understanding of it.

So basically GA never did call VT it was a typo in the records. Like I said if I understand correctly.

Azlawyer any phone calls or PM's from outside our family? lol

No, not yet. Hopefully Tricia would give me a heads-up before handing out my info, though!

Anyway, there's nothing I did that everyone else can't check on their own now. And I guarantee the SA can get hold of more information than I can, because there are little boxes I could have checked off on my searches that would have allowed access to more information if I were willing to lie and say I was a law enforcement officer.

Thank You AZ For This Info.... You Are Absolutly Amazing.....
Also Thanks To Everyone Its Been A Fantastic Read. And My Jaw Is Aching From The Laughter:laughcry:

BTW in my spare time I skip through swamps sprinkling heart stickers....

OMG Jose would have a heart attack if he knew I have an ENTIRE HEART STICKER DRAWER in my SCRAPBOOKING CLOSET.

Capital letters to get the DT's attention. :floorlaugh:

:thud: You have time to scrapbook, too?

Yes--and not a typo in his cell phone records, but a typo in certain public records databases. Basically if some clerk somewhere enters a number incorrectly one time, the error will be all over these databases within weeks.

Nice job AZLawyer, rhornsby, and all who investigated the phone records early on or alerted the media with this latest DT debacle today. I like to imagine angel Caylee having a good little giggle at the pathetic attempts to thwart her justice.

Priceless that earlier today Geraldo was advertising the "surprises" in store for us from his buddy Baez. I think Geraldo's been schooling Baez on the technique referred to as "pulling a Capone's Vault"...

Isn't Andrea Lyon from Chicago? Is this new witness her brainchild. Sounds to me like a tactic she would use to divert blame & suspicion anywhere but her client. But *wink*wink* we know she doesn't work for the Defense any longer so I must be wrong.

Hi Jose.:seeya:

No, oops I mean yes, AL is from Chicago, but, The Orlando Sentinel and the Trib are one in the same. The OS had the exact same article published this morning. "Sister news agency" so to speak.

RBBM. Yes, because remember ~ death is different.

Well NoeticSoul came through for ZB

And now AZlawyer for Caylee

I'm proud to be a poster here more so then ever now.

Hi Jose.:seeya:

The Chicago Tribune and the Orlando Sentinel are owned by the same company - essentially, they are sister papers. We see a lot of Orlando news up here, especially if it spins into the national spotlight. As for Andrea, she's been popping up here and there on her own anyway. I wouldn't doubt that has played a role in being on the Trib's radar screen
