Introducing Referral Links​

We've added a new way for you to help grow our community - and get credit for it. Every member now has a personal referral link. When someone joins Websleuths using your link, you get credit for bringing them into the community.

How it Works​

You can share any post or thread using the share icon

on the top-right of every post. Copy the URL that appears, and share that link. Other users who create accounts after using your link will be counted as your referral.

You can also share out your referral link. To find your referral link, simply:

1. Go to your Account page
2. Look for the Referrals tab
3. Copy your unique link and share it

The Leaderboard​

Want to know whoCurious how you stack up? We've added a referral leaderboard showing our top community builders. Check it out on the Member Dashboard.

You Can Opt Out​

Some Websleuths users may choose to share link but prefer not to reveal themselves as a referral. We respect your right to privacy, so we've added an opt-out feature. By checking the Remove Referrals checkbox in your user preferences, and pressing the Save button at the bottom of the page, your share links will not include any referral codes, keeping your identity safe.

Why We Built This​

Websleuths grows because members like you tell friends, share links on social media, and spread the word. This feature lets us recognize that contribution. The more people you bring in, the higher you climb on the leaderboard. Who will be on top?
