Who should play JMK in the movie?

Gary Oldman played Oswald in the movie JFK. Let's call him in for a reading too.

Felicity Huffman. She played a man pretending to be a woman (forgot the name of the movie..Transgendered, maybe??)and she looks a bit like Karr.

Maybe Dakota Fanning should play the 1st wife- or is she too old now?

I guess my sense of humor is different or something cause honestly I find this thread distastful. There is nothing entertaining about a young childs brutal death. I don't want to see any movie about it.

Thanks for your opinion. I don't think anyone here finds JBR's death anything but horrifying. I mainly found this thread to be poking a little fun at Karr and I don't think Karr is involved. Plus, sometimes you need to blow off some steam in the face of such trauma.

You summed up my reasons for starting the thread very well thank you!

I understand your reasons for starting this thread. I just can't find any release or humor in this topic. I think of John Mark Karr as a pathetic, horrific example of the worst of human kind and feel sick to my stomach at the thought of what poor jonbenet went through. I am not condeming you for starting this thread, as I do understand that others do find release in this way. I just don't.

Oh, yeah! His music career is pretty much over, and he wouldn't mind bleaching his hair or wearing makeup (whould his skin have to go lighter or darker lol?) ro play the part.

GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!
Great minds think alike! 3-0 in pre-season! I've been trying to keep up here today, but have been paying attention to the news on "Ernesto". Hope you're not on the coast! :)

Nope. I'm inland. I'm sad though because we have to sell our tickets this year to catch up from where hubby went back to school for a bit.

And, someone in the media has been doing nothing but making fun of JMK since they first heard of him. And it may be that he had nothing to do with JonBenet's death.

I'm sure you'll find someone very easily who'll buy them! We have ours already. :) I checked for news Karr today, but found nothing except online sales of JMK dolls and stuff. Talk about demented people ~ worse than JMK himself (assuming he's not guilty)!

I don't believe anyone here finds JonBenet's terrible murder entertaining, however, we live in the 21st century and its likely yet another movie will be made about the subject, so I don't think it hurts to speculate on who will play the parts.

There have already been movies made about her murder, so with this latest development, its only realistic to expect another one, especially with the media circus surrounding Karr.

Actually I thought the thread was more about poking fun at the Karr media circus anyway.

and don't forget his family has already hired a publicist to sell the rights (although they can't make any money unless he's the killer and they are saying he is not the killer...huh?)

maybe they are a fan of crime forums just like JMK

Heh... since they've already hired a publicist and are trying to sell the rights, they'll probably try to make money with a story of how their loving, normal family member was railroaded and portrayed as a freak in the media if he turns out not to be the killer.
