Per this article from this morning, http://tv.yahoo.com/news/exclusive-...terview-casey-anthonys-parents-111500911.html
No money has been exchaged yet between Dr. Phil and the foundation.
And Dr. Phil says he will not interview CFCA (BBM)...

He also confirmed that Dr. Phil agreed to make a donation to a non-profit that the Anthonys plan to set up in Caylee's name (no money has been issued yet); but beyond that, McGraw stresses that he paid no fees to them whatsoever. That includes no money for home videos and photos — which are frequently a backdoor method for news organizations to pay for interviews.

TV Guide Magazine: You mention in the first episode that you're not interested in talking to Casey Anthony. Why not?
Dr. Phil: I think it's highly unlikely she's going to tell what she knows. Her actions have spoken much louder than any words she could speak. Everybody says she's out of jeopardy now, and therefore she has nothing to lose, but she has everything to lose. If she comes out and tells a different story now than what was told before, a very difficult lie for her is just going to get that much harder. She's not going to be forthcoming about this.

Sounds like Dr. Phil is waiting for the new foundation to get off the ground. OR, perhaps the A's advised him to withhold payment until the new foundation is more established.

But I thought they already set up a new foundation? I thought someone even linked the page about it? It didn't say much, though. Am I going crazy? Or are they setting up a third or fourth foundation now? I wonder when that interview actually happened. I am almost certain the new foundation is already set up through their lawyer.

I don't think the second foundation os up and running yet. The last I checked, the website was under construction. We're all going a little crazy... So no problem there!

Ah, okay then. I thought I was losing my mind. And actually, it would be third foundation. I think the very first one didn't get set up right or something from what I remember, so they had to set up a second foundation, and that's where only a few donations went to. So this new one would be the third foundation they've set up.

And none of these are to be confused with "Bring Kids Home" a seemingly shady phantom group which has lofty plans for the Caylee memorial. Have those plans gone anywhere? I guess I need to venture over to that thread....

Anyway, here's a link to www.cayleesfund.org, still under construction. I signed up for the email list months ago and haven't gotten the first email from this group.

Speaking of their lawyer - what the heck happened to Mr. Lippman? We heard from him far more frequently that we ever wanted to - almost every day.

What's it been? At least a month since he travelled with them to Texas and beyond, talking about the foundation - and have we heard even a whisper from him since then?

Hmmm......could be a story there...

I think ML registered the foundation that first week after the verdict. The A's do have the Jeep and when was this interview by TVGuide done. I would think unless the A's were told they had to wait until the program aired to get the money it would have already been transferred to the foundation. Do these foundations need to get approval first before they can become active and start accepting funding? jmo

OK...here we go, Charities 101.

I have been searching half the morning and can't find the tweet, but I swear it was tweeted either by Bob Kealing or Martha Sugalski or one of the news agencies/attorneys that they were investigating other "hidden" foundations/orgs that have been created. But I can't find that tweet now and it's driving me nuts!

Yes, their attorney set up this third (new) foundation. It is registered with him as the Registered Agent (Sunbiz.org). I've been checking other businesses/orgs where he's the agent and only found one (so far) registered over at Sunbiz that was created last July, 2011. Nothing about that one anywhere at all (online) that I can find but attorney's file as registered agents for corporations all the time so who knows. I wish I could find that tweet!!! I'm gonna keep searching until I drop...

the absolute last thing I recall hearing from Mr. Lippman is that the A's would be drawing salaries from their foundation, which he then backpedalled on. IMO the A's might not have been too happy with that revelation since the remuneration for their upcoming interview is a donation to said foundation, and in that regard they would definitely be "paid"........

Hmmmmmmmm indeed!!

I would think an org could become active as soon as they file papers with the State. I could be wrong. But this org is registered and shown as 'active' on Sunbiz.org. They sure don't need a website to be active, just corporation papers and a bank account. JMO

Dr. Phil, "What we know, this little girl woke up alive, and she finished the day dead and in a field."

How does Dr. Phil KNOW she woke up alive and finished the day dead and in a field? Does he now KNOW that Caylee was not in the trunk for 2.8 days? Does he have proof of this statement that the police never found? Is he basing this statement on the answers the A's gave him during the interview?

The article was interesting, and I will force myself to watch the A's on his show. He said they interviewed for 9 hours or so, and if this interview will be squeezed into two one hour segments, there will be a whole lot of editing done. It will be interesting to see what the end result on the show will be.

As far as the question about who will make the most money, I think that HLN has the dubious honor of that title.

As always, my entire post is my opinion only.

Can you point me to a source that states the Jeep was part of the payment of the Dr. Phil show? I've seen that on these boards, but I can't recall seeing it anywhere else. It's not mentioned in the TV Guide interview, but I did pull this:

TV Guide Magazine: You stress that your show didn't pay for the interview, that instead you're making a donation to their new foundation. Do you feel confident that that money will go to the right place?
Dr. Phil: They haven't gotten their authorization yet. They didn't make a demand, they made a request. And I asked when we sat down, "Let me be clear, you didn't ask to be paid for this. You asked that we make a donation to this 501c3 charitable organization. And you take no money from that, you get no salary, no fee, no reimbursement, nothing from the foundation." He said that is correct. I said, "You understand that this is federally licensed, and the IRS and the government monitors this." They said that is absolutely correct. So I moved on with that confidence in mind.

TV Guide Magazine: Sometimes news organizations get around paying fees by licensing videos and photos. Did you do any of that?
Dr. Phil: We paid no money to the Anthonys whatsoever. They didn't ask for any.

So ... we're supposed to believe what Dr Phil says and what Dr Phil says the Anthonys said ??????????????????????????????? WTH??
He comes off as saying he's followed the case and knows the score, yet in his interview, plenty of discrepancies ...
The biggest red flag ? He believes the Anthonys who perjured themselves at trial and have told contradictions (LIES) from the beginning !! He believes the Anthonys when they say they will not draw salaries from their new org and that this new org is legitimate ...
Bet Dr Phil won't ask them why they pleaded with people to go out and look for a live Caylee when they knew she was dead either ....

Anyone know where the list is of Networks and sponsors? :banghead:

Unless this was in the works long ago, I doubt Dr. Phil bought/paid for the Jeep. They were at Home Depot with it on July 14th. And I saw the jeep on a news video outside their home, parked in their garage before the Home Depot story broke. Unless, of course, they've gotten another one since.

You know I read it on here this morning and can't find it, but I'll continue to look (about the Jeep). Sound strange to me, too. The A's can take expenses from the foundation. Why would they want a salary when you have to pay taxes on that salary or fee or reimbursement? With a foundation to pay all your expenses you should be set for life. jmo

It's in the same article that stated as fact that Dr. Phil donated $500,000 and a Jeep.

An article came out this morning that quotes Dr. Phil saying no money has been given yet and the foundation is not complete.

The link is in the Dr. Phil thread in the parking lot.

Exactly ! If there's a way of their scam foundation "sponsoring" them for the rest of their lives, we all know that's what will happen ....
If they keep themselves in demand for interviews, they'll have vacations "sponsored", automobiles "sponsored", living and travel expenses "sponsored", etc. .... I wouldn't be surprised to hear that their new "foundation headquarters" (a new home for them) will be purchased for them ... just look at what they haven't had to pay for over the past three years ... it's disgusting ...

If it's the article from worldinfohub, I don't think it's factual.

http://worldinfohub.net/2011/08/31/...ir-fake-foundation-and-buys-them-2-new-jeeps/

This article is full of misspellings and grammatical errors, and there are no sources for the opinionated claims that are made.

I've googled the subject, and I can't find any source about the jeep other than this worldinfohub site.

Thanks for the links. I read through www.cayleemarieanthonyfoundation.net. It doesn't appear that it's been updated since 2009. Cindy wrote the text.. at one point she writes "George and I".

There's no clickable email address, just a p.o. box to send money.

If this foundation has been abandoned, this site needs to be tended to.
