Why Have George and Cindy Requested a Video Visitation With Casey?

That's true but CA didn't bother to request to see KC last Mother's day or the one before that unless she thinks this will be the last chance she will have to see KC on Mother's day before she is convicted of the Murder of her own baby.

Frankly, deep down, I have been holding out hope for this exact thing for at least a year now. Hoping against all hope that Cindy FINALLY sees that Miss ICA killed her beautiful, innocent little girl, purely out of hatred and spite for her mother. I Hope that CA sees that and finally, instead of CYA mode, perhaps goes into revenge/truth mode. You can only cover for a person who HATES you for so long. I understand that CA's precious ego is at stake. Admitting that she is the mother of murdering (INSERTBADWORDHERE) would be EXTREMELY difficult. But COVERING for that diabolic murdering mother, when you know the truth, is FAR worse in my moral and ethical handbook.


So either CA is TOTALLY and COMPLETELY stuck in the worlds WORST case of denial (completely disconnected from reality, delusional and in self preservation mode), or, she is a big fat liar pants, who will do anything to save her precious princess (Narcissistic, egocentric and still delusional). (frankly if she is the latter, then SHE has to live with herself for the rest of her life... not me)


I hope ICA decides to see CA on Sunday! Mother's day! I hope ICA Freaks out on CA on Sunday. I hope this infuriates CA and she finally decides that it's time for ICA to accept responsibility for her own behavior. Cant get more of a slap in the face than being snubbed on Mother's Day by your own daughter whom you having been lying and covering up for for 2.5 years.

CA needs to stop catering to ICA and get a spine.

I've posted elsewhere recently that Cynthia Marie is completely narcissistic and cannot even fathom that she might be looked at as the mother of a convicted child-killer. Narcissists surround themselves with people who make them look good, and a murdering-mommy doesn't fit this mold. Cindy will not be able to look in the mirror ever again if her daughter - a reflection of herself - is convicted of murder and sentenced to death.

My advice to Cindy: For once in your life, let go, and don't make this about you. Your daughter did the crime, and it is she who should do the time.

I haven't checked the MSM articles yet, however, Beth Karas also stated the same thing during the 5:00 PM EDT HLN Special Report or was it Prime News. Not sure at this point as they are all running together.

If every mother accepted total responsibility FOREVER for the behaviors of her children, we would all be in the nuthouse! We do the best that we can under the varying circumstances of our lives, but that is really all that we can do. Our children eventually reach adulthood, leave the nest to be on their own, and we mothers can no longer influence their behaviors and choices...nor should we be expected to accept the responsibility for the actions of our offspring. jmo

I've got some kind of weird aversion therapy going on in my head so I've given into it... Don't have to brace myself to hit the boards here anymore....

And I am so sorry you are feeling bad about your Mom. Would it help if you lit a candle for each blessing she gave you - but I guess you wouldn't have enough candles would you...Hugs..

I don't think this is a set-up at all! I think ICA and the DT are genuinely afraid that CA and GA will hear testimony from other witnesses that will convince them to not slant their testimony so much in favor of ICA. Those two are really all the DT has right now.

At least they will be up in the balcony and not sitting on the side of the DT front and center. At least I hope they will have to wisdom to heed HHJP's words.
Their lawyer seems like a pretty bright, straight kind of a guy and I hope they accept his advice. So far he seems to be the only one who has been able to control them.

I liked Mark Lippman too. He seems to be an upstanding person, polite, as well as smart. He was a bit nervous, but this is a high profile case.

I'm surprised that there's an attorney that can control the Anthonys, but they both seem to like him.

At this stage of the game, it's not so much about who George and Cindy like. The reality is that George and/or Cindy might be held accountable for Caylee's death per their daughter, Casey. George and Cindy have found themselves in a most uncomfortable position as parents of a murder suspect: That their offspring may have committed an unspeakable crime and/or that they may have assisted in or helped cover up said crime. Hopefully, their new attorney is aware of the ramifications of both possibilities and is prepared to deal with either one as necessary.

You know, this DT has made me paranoid, but this wording bugs me - feels like a red herring. "Lippman said Casey's attorney, Jose Baez, advised his client against the meeting." <------ so, did his client refuse or not???????
