Why Have George and Cindy Requested a Video Visitation With Casey?

I am curious ...Seems like I remember she also left a purse or something in the car ..like hoping to say the car was stolen along with her bag.. I swear I remember reading that.

Yes, her 'workpurse.' In reality it had nothing of value in it, but it would attract thieves. And she may have wanted someone to steal it. That would be a perfect out for her. She could have said the child was in the car sleeping when it was stolen from her.

yes, I remember this too. She had to be hoping car will be towed and kept by tow company or stolen. I forget what the tow company guy at Johnson's said about what they do with cars if they are not retrieved after a certain amount of time.

According to CA it was her "work" bag :)

Workpurse is Anthony speak. It was a tote bag that could have been used for a variety of things.

She may have even left it there, with nothing valuable in it, to attract thieves that would leave unknown fingerprints on the car... funny they never found stranger fingerprints on the car from the two guys who helped her push the car into the Amscot parking lot??

Did tow company guy say he gets rid of the car if its in bad shape after a certain amount of time. But then again the car wasn't in such bad shape....it just smelled bad. The car just needed to be purified somehow.

I know right! And it was so nice of them to BACK the car into the spot for her! :loser:

The only way to purify a car that has had a dead body in it is to burn it.

I know, right?
I have had lots of incidents where kind strangers have helped me push cars out of traffic and into gas stations or parking spaces---NEVER have I expected them to back the car into a spot. The best you can hope for is getting safely out of traffic and into a legal spot to park.

I think she backed into that spot herself because she needed to ditch the car until Tony left for NYC.

yeah, its more convincing that she wanted it stolen, than to be towed. Maybe she thought at first she'll go back and figure away to purify the car of smell, but didn't think she could, so she figured it would hopefully be stolen. But then again, why not just leave it in a bad area with the keys in it? That would have been a surer bet of it being stolen. Depends who notices it, though.

Will the jury be privy to this visitation status ICA insists on? It certainly doesn't look good, imo.

Oh, and Cindy? Get a grip... cut her off already.

I don't see Lee putting any money into her account. He (IMHO) cut her off a loooong time ago!

I agree with you, but then again, Casey might have been thinking of it. She did need a car. I remember one of Tony's roommate's said she was going to get a new or newer car, so did she think after she comes home with a missing baby and no car (if the car was stolen later) her parents would just buy her another car. I think she cared more about wheels though than her kid. Too bad for the lovely child that never got a chance.

No, I do not think Casey left her car there to be stolen. Casey had every intention to go back and get her car... when she finally was able to get up there to Amscot, her car had already been towed. She may have left her purse in the car to have someone smash her window to get the purse, etc... but I do not think she wanted that car stolen.

Casey's car was her freedom... why do you think George knew to take the battery out of the car when they got it back to the house? They didn't want Casey to simply be able to jump in her car and take off. Casey could not live without a car.

I really don't know why Casey did the things she has done... I think it has been said a lot on this forum... Casey only thinks 10 minutes at a time. That is how she lives her life. When something happens... she is incapable of thinking far enough ahead to really think about what she is going to do. I just wished she would have searched "How to get rid of the smell of human decomposition."

erm..why wasn't GA there?

I think Cindy wanted to talk to Casey about George. I think she wanted to ask if the DT was going to accuse him during the trial. So she wanted to be alone when she confronted casey about it. imoo

I have been reading through this thread and everyone's views are logical, but this one stopped me in my tracks.. Good observation. Lee has not put money in KC's account and you think that he would considering how close they once were. So, with that I am certainly hoping that Lee has jumped the ship of fools and that he will come forward for Caylee no matter what his parents may do or think of it.

ITA! I wonder who's writting the script - JB or CM?

I think it's AL. She left the team but as much as she is against the DP, I think she gave JB cliff notes to her papers etc on how to proceed

Well, you make some good points. And casey did need a car. But she also had a bigger problem, which was her missing child. She knew eventually she would have to face her parents about that issue. The baby's birthday was fast approaching. She knew she needed to have an explanation by then at least.

If her car were 'stolen' she could have the perfect excuse for the child being missing. And she could use the insurance [ if there was any] to replace the car. But a car jacking would be the excuse she needed to explain the childs absence. And there would be others fingerprints and maybe even DNA in the car hopefully so she could muddy the waters a little. Imagine how different the trial would be if the car had been stolen first and found with some one elses finger prints in it?

Just read the jury might be chosen in Pinellas County. I don't know where that is in relationtship to Orlando. I don't see how it makes a big difference on whether the jury is just from a few counties away. I'm in New York and I know all about it. They have to go to Fiji to get a totally unbiased jury.
