Why Have George and Cindy Requested a Video Visitation With Casey?

All I can add to this mix is I still have that money in my piggy bank and I am not betting on which Anthony gets tossed first.

Actually if I did, it would have to be placed on ICA. No way, none, nadda, zippo, will she be able to constrain herself void of emotion when Linda gets up or if it's Jeff and they start with their opening statement to the jury.

No amount of crayons, pens, paper whatever will keep her distracted. She will breakdown, rub her hands, adjust herself over and over till HHJP says enough is enough. She will smile wide when she hands those keys to the bus over to JB of Mason. She will cry when Anne gets JBarrett on the stand describing the evil older Anthonys.

Sheeze, and the circus continues.

There is a case down in Collier County (Naples, Florida) where a man murdered his wife and five children. They wheeled him into the courtroom tied to a stretcher for one of his hearings recently. He was screaming (singing??) and carrying on about something. Didn't stop the court from ordering him present.

There was another case down in Fort Myers, Florida that went to trial recently and the man accused of murdering his girlfriends baby was constantly being disruptive... he was never removed from the courtroom.

I think that Casey would have to do something really awful to be booted from her own trial. I think they do have something set up for situations like this though? I don't remember what trial it was, but I remember the person on trial being put into a room near the courtroom which was live streamed to the courtroom so that the jury could see... and the defendant could see and hear everything that was going on at their trial.

My money is on George getting booted first. I don't think he really wants to be there anyways.

Oh, I agree. I wasn't suggesting that HHJP would have her removed. I wouldn't put it past him though to "counsel" once again, to control their client. Hard sell since ICA believes she is in charge. :floorlaugh:

I think we are over thinking the thought process behind the DT and in particular KC regarding her refusal to see her parents and her desire for them to be sequestered. and yes I think what prompted CM to file the motion to keep the parents out was his clients wishes and not any particular strategy.

She will not face her parents. That is the core of it. That has been the heart of this case from the very begining. That is what those 31 days were. She killed Caylee and cannot face them as a result. She has no answers for them at this point. All of her lies evaporated when the body was found. All this is, is more consciousness of guilt. More flight behavior.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out in court. Especially since the strategized themselves into sitting in a way that almost forces KC to look into the gallery and see CA.

BBM: Exactly !

Excellent Post !

I saw that too...why would they keep giving her money if she won't even see them.

Doesn't she look lovely?? I'm just surprised that the sunglasses aren't white?

Did she show up to be told the visit was declined by ICA, or was she told in advance? Would be awful if you were visiting from out of town/state and had to make the trip for nothing. IMHO.

Video states she was called on the phone and told, she said "thank you."

Then she showed up at 9 am, and gave an envelope with money for ICA's commisary account.

Can we say "enabler"???

According to their attorney... they were told by Jose last night that there would be no visit. So Cindy showed up knowing Casey was not going to see her. They say she put money in Casey's account... which is silly when George just put 140 dollars in her account. I personally think she went there for the media exposure. I bet she is really upset that there wasn't more media there waiting for her?

I go back and forth on their wanting attention. They have been doing a lot better lately about not being on tv shows, so maybe they are actually listening to their attorneys now. Sometimes I think that the grief must be overwhelming and that they are not sure who to believe, and sometimes I think they know the truth and are just covering up. I believe during the trial we will really see their true side and when they have to face all the facts I want to see their reaction.

They don't need answers, they know that Caylee is dead by Casey's hand. Oh, they may not know the particulars and may care not to know. She faced her parents when she was bailed out of jail AND was not pressured by them for any information. She made brownies for pete sake! No I am not buying she can't face her parents. Her defense has advised her not to meet with her parents for whatever reason, plain and simple. She will see them when it will benefit her. It's a PLOY. It is all part of a plan they (Anthonys, DT, Casey) have. They have one goal and are united in this, (resonable doubt) to get Casey off by hook or by crook. No price is too dear for the Anthonys to pay. They will suffer no legal consequence. MHOO

I understand and agree that it may be a ploy...on the other hand, it could just be the grandiose CA we have all come to know, the one who sits in her Hopespring house saying: "It's Mother's Day! Let's all have "hope"!, We can't give up "hope" (and other nonsensical platitudes). It may be that this is ALL there is to it, CA wanting to wish KC "Happy Mother's Day"--because she was such a great Mother! CA doesn't like to say no for an answer...she never wants to admit that Mother's Day is over for that family....so she goes anyway. All that sounds like the usual CA to me!

I agree. But also think when one is getting the bus/train its best not to appear friendly. And this burden will be blamed on defense

Here is my take on it. I believe they have kept a low profile because there is a plan. The Anthonys have teamed up with the DT. If the plan is to use Caseys upbringing, etc, it would not behoove Cindy or George to keep appearing to be concerned, anxious, loving parents. moo

I'm not 100% sure if the request was for real. I mean it would have been nice for Casey to see her parent(s) days before the trial...but why didn't they do this before? How about on her birthday? What could they fear being released if it was a purely friendly visit? I mean, we would want to see it...but heck, it wouldn't be revealing. I think they have finally realized to keep their yaps shut. But, that's why I don't understand why they made it an issue this week...of all weeks. And why show up to put money in her account? Why put yourself out there to be followed? Fortunately, only one station showed up...and if it the point of this was for us to have sympathy for the parents, well it worked. I felt bad about the questions the news guy was asking. Cindy didn't need to hear that, especially now. So what was the point?

So do I :fence:
Lippman and the A's were informed last night that Baez/Casey was not allowing the visit
6:50AM this morning Casey also told Jail officials she was denying the visit.
Knowing full well that Casey had denied the visit..Cindy still went to the Visitation Center...

Was Cindy hoping that Casey would change her mind?
She put money in the account demonstrating to Casey that they support her even though Casey denied the visit with her mother.
