Despite the fact that we are told that JR is in the loving and caring arms of his father, some of us know better. I keep in mind those loving and caring arms continually wrapped around the POI in his daughter's disappearance....I think the PICS of him and Misty say it all.

Misty being a POI doesn't seem to phase Ronald one bit, does it?

yes, double standard in amount of payments, excuses allowed during contempt of court round ups for non payment, and actual imprisonment.

I still get the impression that some are just not happy that Crystal didn't suffer enough to pay the back support money. You should be happy for RC and the huge amount of money he got, instead some are angry that CS didn't hurt enough to pay it.

They cry out for wanting her to have gone to jail for the support money deficit but not one word for RC going to jail for his multipe drug charges. Don't forget he was still paying a fine for drugs and within a month of filing for custody (because he didn't want the children exposed to drugs) he picked up another arrest for drugs....hmmmmm

Nope, CS did not have to go to jail....good thing. She has four children at home, one an infant. I am very glad that a generous person helped her out by paying the debt. She is at home with four children and people say, "Why doesn't she work?", yet RC is still not working. Neither is his wife. I guess the State of Florida can pay for the three of them. You have an able bodied man there who needs to go to work. When will it happen? Yes, why isn't Jr. with his mother? I imagine it is because RC, once again, has fenagled the system by moving in to live with Grandma this time.

Yes one begins to wonder just how much of an actual motivator custody is for RC and to what extent it is dictating his every move. When he was under the glaring scrutiny of media suddenly--in the firestorm of a missing child investigation--it must have seemed advantageous or served as damage control to make her his childbride. Then when it was apparent MC became the center of the investigation and more of a liability, back out she goes--at least from the harsh spectacle of media and the public eye. JMO

The way I see it Kiki, Ron's motivation for keeping those kids is not having to pay child support. Have you noticed he never claimed Amber's. He wasn't going to win custody in that one. He have to take the child and apply at the courts just lilke before, but now that mothers are aware of what he did before...that is unlikley to happen again. Amber wants no part of him and his ilk...can't blame her on that one.

Marrying and moving in with Grandma upped his ante to retain control.

There is, at last count, only one child (of Crystal's) present for whom he can account. Presumably he must in the long run keep them to continue collecting. So at what point does the Court, temporarily or otherwise, suspend the order in the case of a missing child? JMO

I think he considered trying to get Jordan so that he could get the disability check. Then quickly realized how much work it would take to care for the little guy and his special needs. He brought him back in what.... 24 hours or something?

I have to be honest, I am having a very hard time following the illusions presented of Ronald Cummings and Crystal Sheffield in this thread. In particular the statements about Ronald fighting for custody because he had an ulterior motive to get paid child support from Crystal. In all the time that RC maintained custody of Haleigh and RJ, how many months passed with no support coming into the home? And how many times did Ronald petition the court to hold Crystal in contempt for non payment. The order was entered on 12/05/05 in the amount of $323.00 dollars a month to be paid to RC. In the documents that I just finished reading for the 4th time I see no petition in the almost 4 years that the order was active. None, no times. Wouldn't a father who had the ulterior motive of collecting an income by way of child support in the amount of $323.00 a month petition to enforce that order?

Secondly, Ronald could have at any time petitioned to change the visitation schedule ordered in the agreement because I have been in 2 courtrooms and witnessed the unfortunate order handed down that prohibits the father( because in both hearings I heard it was the father as the respondent) from further visitation with his children because of nonpayment on a court order. But that wasn't done in this case, I mean where is the evidence to support the accusations being made in this thread?

I personally find it hard to understand how anyone who claims her partner was abusive..could leave those children behind and move some distance away from them. Yes she had another and i understand looks after Chads..and yet didnt have the money to help to support the children she had first.

I am not saying Ron is the ideal father..but..there is bad points on both sides.

Its being posted as fact, and I want to know why strangers are claiming facts as true, when I don't see Amber, her Mother claiming and questioning this relationship and moving towards Ron concerning this child. Yet, this child is being thrown into this case over and over.

Yet, another child, Crystals, and it's left alone and not drug around in the discussions here. The children should be left alone. Their not a point of contention in this case and having nothing to do with it.
