Why take "rocks" into evidence??

Murt repeated today that is was indeed a clover charm and an exact match for the one Casey is wearing in the photo.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the pic mentioned. I can search for it later, but limited on time right now, and if anyone has the link handy, I'd appreciate it. Thanks :)

LE hasn't found anything. It's obvious. If they had, would they have allowed a search that potentially could have included over 5,000 people to go forward? LE has seemingly not participated much in the search at all. I have no idea why but I do find it disconcerting and it certainly raises my suspicions about their competency. Either they have all the "proof" they need for their case or really, there is a problem here. I hope for the first and I am in fear of the latter.

MOO

Apart from the forensic investigation, I have not been in the least bit impressed with the "investigations" and am starting to understand why the A's might feel that they can hoodwink the system.

Capri - I'm sorry I have been unable to log into my photobucket account for a few days so I can't post the pics. There are two. One is of Casey in the car with Annie and she is wearing a silver necklace with a shamrock charm. The second, probably most relevant one, is a picture of her in the car (again) with a foreground shot that includes a lanyard with a clover/shamrock charm.

Pink Panther- will you take a look at the pic I just pulled from another thread, and see if its the same clover- thx

Why take anything at all into evidence??If there was NO EVIDENTUARY value in what they found, then why take the supposed "rocks"??? Something is ROTTEN in what just happened!!!

Not necessarily. When Leonard Padilla is asked to take a polygraph because he is suspected of planting the "evidence" then it wouldn't be rotten at all for that false evidence to be preserved in case it's needed for a prosecution.

Just a thought.

So the early descriptions of this being a green shamrock were wrong? Even the DIVER who found the dang thing said it was green, and when it was released from the concrete, it was found to be a gumby magnet.

Oh gosh, kgeaux. Don't you know that the diver is lying?

Well, dang, reef! It's just so hard to keep up with the incredible morphing evidence!

And I don't know Murt OR the diver, don't know a thing about their backgrounds: I've foolishly been taking them both at face value!

LOL

the only thing about that is, don't they have to immediately inform the Anthony's when they do find her. They are her next of kin. Also if they did find her, then I think they would let the world know since we are all waiting for the news.

No- they have no obligation to inform the Anthonys of anything. They are not her legal guardian. Moral maybe, but nothing legally. They have no obligation to tell KC because she is indicted for the murder.

Does anyone know for certain that the "Rocks" were taken into evidence ?

I was under the impression that everything in the bag was logged into "Found property"

The interesting thing to me was that the FBI took the "rocks" and not the sheriff's department. It appeared to me that gave the sheriff's department the ability to say "nothing relating to the case" without lying.

I've been thinking about why the FBI took the rocks, and I think it's not because they are evidence in the Caylee case, but because there is a possibility that they could become evidence in another case...depending on the results of a certain lie detector test.

Evidence to be used against LP and his stories!

I really must heartily agree with kgeaux with the statement "foolishly been taking them both at face value."

It really is too bad that we have come to a place in human history where the 'ugliest' stuff in the world draws these folks out. Moreover, it is lousy that we live in a world that one must do 'background checks' to believe something someone says.

But before I go...if these divers found anything regarding the case, and I did write this out yesterday, I was simply appalled at the scene; no tape, no LE, handling evidence in such a fashion that it could easily be destroyed or 'swapped with other items' by lesser than honorable people.

I am far more interested in what held the bag down than what was in the bag...

Tell me please isn't there some interest with some "PAVERS" gone missing?

TIA, Leviosa :)

Forgive me if I am mistaken, but I thought it was announced yesterday that they were "animal bone fragments" and not rocks at all??? Was I just dreaming this?

Mr. Padilla has agreed wholeheartedly to submit to the polygraph, and has CHALLENGED the Anthony family in so doing that he would pass it, but that they would not and that was the reason none of them would submit to it. Once he takes the polygraph and PASSES, what happens then?

Also, Murt mentioned in HIS live stream when he was crying the day this all happened, that there was a child's shoe in the find, but THAT has never been mentioned again. Has anyone else heard anything about that shoe and why Murt and Lenny were crying that day? I mean, come on, these are grown men, and a bag of toys is NOT going to bring them to tears. I believe there is more here than meets the eye, and I believe that will be shown in the fullness of time.

I'm wondering why LE is asking him to take a Poly in the first place...?

There has to be a reason.

I have to admit that I do find the "Bead Discovery" a bit odd

Would those beads have still been under that tree after all the flooding that took place? ......Maybe....Maybe not.

Also, LP has made a lot of inconsistent statements about what he actually witnessed while at the Anthony home - I hope he didn't "stretch the truth" during his interview with LE

Lying to Nancy Grace is one thing but Lying to LE will land you in jail......Just ask Casey.

Lying to police? Think clearly! This is NOT his first rodeo... he's a well known BOUNTY HUNTER who catches people who lie to police, for a living... He may be out there sometimes, and all over the place a lot of the times .... but he's not inexperienced nor an idiot. I can't fathom planting evidence and lying to police.... it's just not realistic.
