From the article: Cotton plans to again ask that the girl's $500,000 bail be reduced to a signature bond.

Last thing the community needs is her out on bond. Let her stay in the mental hospital, especially if they are making progress with her.
MOO only

ABC 12 Wisconsin News March24, 2016

Here is a snippet from the short article. I would worry that not under strict guidance set by the courts or if she returned to her parents, should MG not follow her parents rules and does not take or fakes taking her meds, MG could go off the deep end again. Although I feel she knows that murder is wrong. IMO, 3 months is not enough time to get this type of 'illness' under control. MG needs further treatment, confinement to continue up to and after her court trial. Her own family may not really want to take on such a responsibility, we do not know. I do not know if there are group type homes that would handle this illness along with the fact that MG is an attempted murderer, and like others accused of murder she should be held in confinement up to, during trial until a verdict. I understand she is a 'child' but there are other things to take into consideration. JMO.

''Morgan Geyser has been treated for Schizophrenia over the last three months at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute in OshKosh.''

MG's attorney said she is being treated and should be back in her 'community'.

Life in prison for attempted murder is an excessive punishment for an adult--let alone for a child.

You'd feel this way if someone tried to take your life, your child's life, or some other loved one?

I think not.

Judge refuses to lower bail for Slender Man suspects

(04.15.2016)
A judge has rejected requests to reduce bail for the two Wisconsin teenagers charged in the Slender Man stabbing case, according to reporter Nick Bohr, covering the hearing for WISN.Anissa Weier, 14, and Morgan Geyser, 13, went before Judge Michael Bohren Friday morning, making a claim that they should have the chance to be released pending trail.

Judge Bohren rejected Geyser’s request to be released to the custody of her grandfather, retired New Holstein Police Chief Robert Niesen. Geyser’s motion suggested she live with Niesen and his wife in Manitowoc County and be subject to GPS monitoring. Geyser’s attorney wrote a letter saying the teen was vulnerable and had been assaulted at Washington County Detention Center.Bohr reports Niesen testified in court that he’d report any violations if she would be allowed to stay with him.
However, the judge ruled Geyser’s bond should remain at $500,000.

These girls deserve atleast 15 years. This was attempted murder. It was planned and it was executed even while the victim begged them to stop. Additionally, not only did they know right from wrong but didn't try to kill her for any "good" reason. She didn't do anything to them she was purely a human sacrifice to prove the existance of Slenderman, an evil character these two girls wanted to bring into the world. There is something chillingly wrong with those two and I agree with the judge; they need long term supervision way after 18 year old and only adult court can guarantee that.

The girl faces up to three years in a juvenile center if they are successful, and up to 45 years behind bars if the case stays in the adult court.
