From the beginning, investigators said they had a person of interest: the father of Wilde’s unborn child.

“That was identified fairly quickly in the investigation. However, he was not real cooperative with investigators,” said Graf.

Graf said the father of Wilde’s baby was never cooperative, rather more defensive and he told police some statements they now know are lies.

“We have a lot of questions that are still unanswered,” said Graf. “Could he be able to answer them today? I hope so. That’s up to him.”

While he remains silent, Amber herself, gave the police some information through her very own diary.

It's a case of homicide, according to police; they think they know who did it but have made no arrest(s). Most likely they think they don't have enough evidence to present to a DA or a grand jury. I'm not even sure they could do anything if they found her and her child's remains because so much time has passed. The whole thing made me think about Adrienne Jones, who was murdered by David Graham and Diane Zamora in Texas a few years earlier than Amber. Adrienne wasn't pregnant but Zamora was enraged when she was told Graham had cheated on her with Jones. At this point, for the sake of Amber's family, LE should at least present what they've got to a grand jury or be more forthcoming with her family. MOO.
