NEW INFO: Fond du Lac County 'Jane Doe" from American southwest

"The Sheriff's Office says the unidentified woman lived in Las Cruces, New Mexico and Albuquerque, New Mexico. She also lived in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Test results show she also spent time in southwest Wisconsin, southern Minnesota and northern Iowa less than a year before her death.

This was determined thru a chemical isotope analysis."

Very long shot, because the age would be way off, there's a gap of 5 years, and because there's no mention of having given birth, but Christine Julian was thought by family members in NM to have possibly gone to Wisconsin to live with her biological father when she went missing in 2003, and she lines up otherwise: Christine Julian – The Charley Project

I found another possible person to be our JD. Estefani Yamileth Castro went missing on the 25th of June, in LA. It's not impossible if she would have hitched a ride or possibly walked part of the way. She is on the high end of the height range, however. The thing that strikes me is the lips. They look close. It's not perfect, but it could be looked into.

Whilst I'm at it, I found another very close one. This shocked me. She isn't ruled out but the age progression to 19 (She would have been 18) is outstandingly close. The person that I'm talking about is Brandi Natasha Cole. The only thing is that she is 10 pounds over and from Georgia. However, she could have lost weight. She also was wearing Blue Jeans when she disappeared. This is a stretch because A. Why would she come to WI? and B. Location is bad and no mention of knock-knees.

It’s possible that Brandi miscarried, which may have not been noticed due to the state of decomposition.

This is just a baseless theory but what if the people in the van went on a road trip for a long time, she and the abductor(s) had an argument, so they killed her and put her in the pond to cover it up. It makes sense. Imagine them driving on I-43 and having an argument. Perhaps the argument could have happened at the adult film store. They would just have driven around and found the spot where they could get away from the crime. DNA would have been completely gone by November. Perhaps they kept the weapon or potentially buried evidence? It wouldn't have been that hard to hide evidence but did they run metal directors through the crime scene? I know they sent that diver to search the pond and they found the medal. It's surprising that no evidence has been found.

My theory is that the Fond du Lac County Jane Doe must have been reported missing at some point, even if she didn't end up on any of the databases that could be used to help find her. Based on the physical descriptions, the location history provided by the police, and having ruled out anyone on the exemptions list, these are my suggestions:

1) Alicia Marie Scott. Missing since 5th April 2006 in Arizona (where we know Jane Doe may have lived at some point). Alicia/Leisha was 15 years old when she went missing, and authorities believe she left of her own accord, which suggests it may be possible she ended up living in Wisconsin 2 years later. She would have been 17 years old in 2008, making her the right age to be this victim. She also looks like the reconstruction, in my opinion.

2) Selfa Flores (no photo). Missing since 11th October 2005 in New Mexico (again, a location where they believe the Jane Doe lived). She was 14 when she went missing, again fitting the correct age, height & weight if she was still alive and ended up in Wisconsin in 2008.

3) Shannon Fischer. Missing since 18th December 2006 in Wisconsin. Someone mentioned her previously in this thread. Previous posters have indicated that her boyfriend murdered her, however, she is still on NamUs so is a potential match I suppose, although it does seem unlikely beyond the likeness matching the reconstruction images. Interestingly, her background description does say that she once moved to Iowa, which is another location where the police think Jane Doe lived).

4) Pieranllela Meza Lazo (no photo). Missing since 30th May 2006 in Arizona. Again, she fits my theory that the Fond du Lac Jane Doe (a) MUST have been reported missing at some point due to her age and (b) the victim's location history as shown by the police's recent findings suggest that she may have moved around, and therefore may have been reported missing in one of the places other than Wisconsin. Pieranllela would have been 19 when she went missing in 2006, making her the right age to be this victim, other details seem to fit loosely, although there is a lack of additional information.

5) Karina Oriana (no photo). Missing since 2nd May 2006 in Arizona aged 22, which would make her 24 in 2008. She is a bit too old, but still a possibility I suppose. She fits the physical descriptors.

6) Erin Pospisil. Missing since 3rd June 2001 in Iowa at the age of 15 This one is unlikely however I haven't ruled it out on the basis that she fitted the physical descriptors and was believed to have run away, therefore making it possible she could have ended up in Wisconsin in 2008, when she would have been 22.

Shannon's body was most likely put in the garbage disposal, but they couldn't find the body. The boyfriend pleaded guilty, as well. The pictures don't resemble the composites that much, but faces can't be a ruleout

The story of Jane Doe...

The woman’s body was badly decomposed, and investigators had to work in the November chill to remove her body from the water and look for clues. She wore no socks or shoes, but an elastic hairband encircled her wrist. She was dressed in a pink bra, Angels blue jeans, and strapless black and pink top tied with a pink bow in the back. In the water, investigators found a medal of St. Benedict, but it was not known if it was related to her.

Her bones placed her at 5 feet 1 inch tall, and between 15 to 21 years old. Her light brown to dark blonde hair was 12 to 14 inches in length, and her weight about 120 pounds. Her race could not be definitively determined, but she is believed to be Caucasian, although Native American, Hispanic and Asian descent remain possibilities, according to the Sheriff’s Office in August 2018.

Her death, which is believed to be a homicide, took place between July and September based on the insects found in her body. According to Forensic Anthropologist Leslie Eisenberg, “Jane Doe” was knock-kneed, pigeon-toed or both....

Where does the case stand one year after exhumation?....

Less than four months after the exhumation, the results were announced. Chemical isotope analysis revealed that Jane Doe likely spent the majority of her life in the area between Flagstaff, Arizona, and Las Cruces and Albuquerque, New Mexico. However, in the last year of her life, isotopes show she likely lived in the region spanning from southwest Wisconsin, northern Iowa and Southern Minnesota, according to the sheriff’s office...."
