One year after the exhumation of FDL County's Jane Doe, the search for answers continues

Someone knows who you are, Miss Jane. I hope 2019 is the year you get your name back.

Hello guys, this is my first time posting a message, i have a suggestion for her, she could be Angel Dawn Wilson, went missing on 2007 so she would have been 18 by 2008, she has a history of drug abuse which leans to one of the theories, i will link her Charley Project website:

Angel Dawn Wilson – The Charley Project

It’s possible that Fond Du Lac Jane Doe isn’t even reported missing, does anyone know if her case was taken by the DNA Doe Project?
So far, there's no indication DDP is involved. And yes, it is quite possible she's unreported missing, which is common for UIDs.

Her NamUs page was pulled when I checked today!!! She's finally going home after almost 11 years!

Really? That’s amazing! :)

Her name is withheld as for now, may she Rest In Peace.

How do we know she’s been identified other than the NAMUS page being pulled? I can’t find any links

I was wondering the same thing. All of her other links are still active on other sites

Wow, great news!

Hoping for the best of updates in this case, of course, but kinda wary since the NamUs page could be down/not visible to the public simply because it's being updated. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

Since it's the weekend, there probably won't be anything until Monday or later. If they're still locating her family, it may take a long time for them to release who she was.

According to the Unidentified Wiki, she's being identified, as they mention that her Namus page is down, it's possible that an official announcement hasn't being made.

No wonder, since Gourami is the wiki's chief admin! :D

Excuse my ignorance but, who's Gourami? (please dismiss this comment)

edit: I just saw Gourami's profile, i'm sorry i didn't see it right away!

I wouldn't say I'm the "chief" admin, since I have promoted two other users to the admin title. I am, however the founder of the site (no worries, Feme98:)).

Anyway, NamUs is the only law enforcement-related source indicating FDL Jane Doe's identification. The Doe Network page will more than likely be updated, but we might wait until her identity is released.

Since the NamUs disappeared on a Friday, other sources would perhaps be delayed with confirming the identification, as most don't tend to work weekends. Hopefully once Monday arrives, an announcement will be made. This could also be delayed if police are still trying to locate next of kin.

Since she was exhumed and Parabon was involved, I'm assuming the identification was made through their genetic genealogy services. That indicates next of kin have already been located.

Ultimately, I'm sincerely hoping I didn't jump the gun with her identification, which has happened in the past. The removal of a NamUs listing, however, seems to be the most credible early indication.

Since this was called a suspicious death, we may be waiting a while to hear that she was officially identified. LE will be investigating all who had contact with her and they may want to do that investigation before they reveal to the public that her identity is known. For example, Philadelphia Jane Doe was tentatively identified by DNA Doe Project in early August but we still have not heard an official announcement from LE. That case is a criminal investigation too.

MOO.

Not to mention Mary Silvani's case. Was that about a year -give or take?
